  2. My favourite small business is a local Blacksmith who makes garden ornaments from old Calor gas canisters! The latest is a beautiful Pig planter! He used old things to make people’s gardens smile

  4. One of my favourite small businesses on Etsy is SunnyjollyDesignsArt, based in Leeds, England. They sell all kinds of things, from purses and mugs to original paintings and greetings cards. I have a lovely cat-themed compact mirror from them.

  5. My favourite small business is my local butchers, living in Lincolnshire, our Lincolnshire sausages are very important to us, and they make the best around.

  6. We have a lovely local farm shop near to where we live. Not only do they have a fabulous range of food but they have some very well thought out gifts too.

  7. I love our local refill shop. You take your own container along to buy food, toiletries etc and save on plastic waste.

  11. Thorne’s Delights. A very small business in Devon that makes the most amazing cakes, brownies, and sweet treats.

We have a lovely little shop in our village that sells beautiful plants and everything you need for your gardening needs, it has slowly turned into a hardware store. you ask for something and they will gladly try to source it for you. They are so helpful and friendly, Just what a little village needs.

  15. Carlton’s Food Merchants in Newcastle upon Tyne – lovely pet shop/business, where I can get all my pet food & accessories.

  16. JW Kaye Ironmongers in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. They have so much crammed into a small shop – any handy household items that you could think of or need they seem to always have in stock!
