  1. A Mother’s Promise by Renee Salt (a Holocaust survivor) and Kate Thompson. A very moving story of a remarkable woman. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  2. I’ve absolutely loved listening to Joe Abercrombie’s First Law trilogy on audiobook. And the “proper” book I’m reading is Lionheart by Sharon Penman who wrote some cracking books about the Plantagenets.

  3. I’m currently reading 2 books, a Swiss novel for my virtual Bookclub and the Institute by Stephen King both very good so far. I have been reading a lot just lately

  4. I was gifted a box-set of the Hunger Games and I’ve been reading that. I was pleasantly surprised because I’m not normally a dystopia fan – but I’ve loved it!

  5. I have been reading Barking Mad by R. Sole. It’s a true life account of an undercover police officer, hence the fake name!

  6. I’ve just started reading The New Neighbours by Claire Douglas, which is really good. I’ve been through a bit of a reading lull lately so I’m pleased to have found a book that’s captured my interest.

  7. I’m reading the Homecoming by Kate Morton, it’s a bit slow going but I’m getting into it now. I enjoy her books
