Creative Ways To Make Some Extra Money
A lot of people are finding that having just one job, the old 9 to 5, just doesn’t cut it anymore – the world is a far more expensive place than it’s ever been, and salaries don’t seem to keep up. The solution is to get another job, but that’s time-consuming and tiring, and it’s not a lot of fun either.
What might be better is to find a creative and new way to make some extra money if you need a little extra every month. With that in mind, here are some great ways to make some extra money that you might want to explore.
Create Digital Products

Creating digital products can be a wonderful way to make some extra money, especially because it’s accessible to everyone and there are very low overheads to consider – in other words, you get to keep as much of your money as you can after you’ve made it. Even better is the fact that the digital marketplace is booming, and the demand for various digital products is on the right. So what kind of digital products do we mean?
One idea could be to write an eBook, especially if you have expertise in a particular field and you can put all your knowledge down in one place for other people to read (and pay for). If that’s not the case, don’t worry because you could write a novel or a collection of short stories instead – it’s hard work to get the book written and edited in the first place, but once it’s ready and you publish it, you can keep selling it for years without any cost to you.
If you prefer, you can take your knowledge and turn it into an online course, as these are very popular at the moment. As with the eBook, once you’ve put the hard work in to create the course, it can just stay online for as long as you want, and people will keep paying to go on the course if it’s worthwhile.
Or what about creating an app? Is there anything in your life that you find annoying or frustrating or generally difficult to do? In that case, could an app make it easier and less tricky? If so, could you make that app? Even if you can’t create the app yourself, you can hire someone else to do it as long as you’ve got the idea of what it needs to do.
Home-Based Food Business

If you love cooking or baking, starting a home-based food business can be a great way to make some extra money, especially if you can do something out of the ordinary and start out from the crowd in some way.
Baking cakes, biscuits, and other sweet treats can be a profitable idea (although do remember that you’ll need to buy all the ingredients, so you must make sure you price your food accordingly otherwise you’ll lose money and it’s all going to be a waste of time), and if you’ve got a local market near you, it’s wise to invest in some custom tote bags as well – you can sell your goods at the market and have people walk around advertising your food after they’ve bought it. Since markets are usually only on once or twice a week, you should be able to fit selling at one into your schedule, even if you’ve got a full-time job as well.
If you’d rather not sell to the general public face to face, why not try a meal prep service? Many people are willing to pay for healthy, pre-prepared meals and by offering a meal prep service, you can cater to busy professionals, families, or just about anyone else who’d rather not have to handle that element of cooking themselves. You can run that business from home and have a courier deliver the items, so it’s a less time-consuming idea than the one above.
Find A Passive Income
Of course, many people dream of having a passive income where the money rolls in and they don’t have to do anything to make it happen, and the truth is that doesn’t exist. Sort of. You can make a passive income, but you’ll have to put some hard work in first – however, once that’s all in place, if you’ve done it well and chosen wisely, you should be able to make a passive income that can easily top up your salary if you need it to.
One thing that many people find makes them a good passive income is investing in property. The biggest issue with this is that you’ll need to have the money to do it in the first place, which can hold a lot of people back, but if you can do it, buying a house or flat and renting it out is a great way to make a passive income (and if you use a management company, you won’t even have to deal with repairs, although you will need to pay them a monthly fee). The ideal situation is to use the profits from your first property to buy a second, then a third, and so on – the more you have the more money you’ll make, plus you won’t run the risk of the money drying up if a property is empty because you’ll still have the others to pay you.
Another, perhaps more accessible, idea is to buy stocks and shares or invest in cryptocurrency or precious metals – or anything else that takes your fancy. It will take a while to see any kind of return, and that return might be small, not to mention the fact that you can lose money through investments, so you must be patient and careful and think about what you’re investing in, how much money you’re risking, and what you might get in return. If investing is something that interests you, getting professional help and advice is the best thing you can do, as trying to go it alone is a dangerous path to take and you might end up with nothing left at all.

I am not great at it but I would absolutely love to have a home baking delivery business. I think I would really enjoy it one day if these was enough money to be made to pay my bills.
