Christmas with Ideal World
This Christmas, shopping from the comfort of your own home couldn’t be easier, especially when you have Ideal World on your side and to get you really feeling the Ideal World Christmas mood they kindly set me up my Christmas just a little bit early to show some of the best of the season they have on offer.
Look at all those lovely presents. So what did they hold inside, well first up was a box of the wrapped used, ready to wrap up gifts for others throughout the year.
But what was hiding inside those sparkly wrapped parcels?
To help you cook up a storm
I openly admit I am not a good cook; in fact I am an awful one, although I do try. So this Cooking For Christmas book is definitely going to come in handy and hopefully make some Christmas meals just a little bit tastier this year. Coming in at just £14.99 you may find some new Christmas favourites between its covers.
To help with the cleaning up
No matter how careful you are, there is always going to be something spilled over the Christmas period and no matter if it coffee or wine or something more sinister this odour and stain remover is bound to help you keep your flooring or furniture as fresh as a daisy.
To have some fun
Going back as long as I can remember we always used to do something special on Christmas afternoon be it watch a movie, or play a game. Now I have to admit I’m not sure I would be any good at this one, I sound rather silly when I try and do any sort of accent bar my normal one, but I can imagine some people being amazing at it.
To help you relax and shine
One of the downsides of Christmas is all the hustle and bustle, all the things that need to be done almost instantly while really you could do with taking a few minutes to sit back, relax and look after yourself. So to help you along the way with this much needed pampering Ideal World have a whole host of items, but they sent me these two.
First up is the beautiful Lusardi My Miracle Hair Masque (RRP £19.99), if like me your hair is looking a little worse for winter, then you NEED this in your life, as not only does it smell amazing, it leaves you with hair that will turn heads when you enter the room. You see this amazing little mask includes ingredients such as Caviar, Keratin, Hyaluronic Acid and Rosemary Leaf Extract, which will not only add shine, but help nourish your hair this winter.
Next up is Spongelle, this is a brand I’ve not heard of before, but have been thoroughly won over by. They are infused body wash, body buffers (try saying that quickly), with each Spongelle lasting 5+ washes. All you need to do is jump into the bath or shower, dampen the Spongelle and wash yourself down. At the moment these Christmas shaped beauties are selling in pack of three for £16.99 and I am totally thinking about buying myself some more.
To help you dazzle
There is something wonderful about getting some new glad rags for the party season and there is so much choice over on Ideal World, including the beautiful Nicole Versatile Godet Insert Top coming in at £19.99. This particular top is available in a number of different colours, including this gorgeous berry (and I see it there in blue as well – might have to grab another for myself). When it comes to sizing they offer sizes between S and XL, I found it to have a wonderful fit to it, with the drape detailing giving a lovely flow as you move.
Ideal World teamed this with a pendant necklace, which has a beautiful iridescent shine to the stone in the middle, meaning it could be teamed with all different colours of outfits. Perfect for the season I have to say.
To brighten up your home
If anyone knows me they will know I love real candles and I have seen these LED flameless candles before and not really thought that much about them. However they are really beautiful and work so nicely either on their own or as a back light behind some Beyond Candles.
Coming in three different sizes and costing £7.99 for the small, £9.99 for the medium and £12.99 for the largest one they really are a lovely addition to any Christmas set up.
To warm you through
There is nothing like a wonderful warm mug cake on a cold evening and if like me you wouldn’t have an idea where to start when it comes to making them from scratch this book is just what you need.
In a couple of session (I accidently set the microwave for too long on my first go), I had perfected the art of the mug cake brownie and found not only was it delicious to taste, it was really simple to make.
To keep you warm and cosy
Hands up who doesn’t love a warm and snuggly something to help them through winter and isn’t this Hot Hugs penguin just the cutest. To use all you need to do is pop his lavender scented belly pouch insert, into the microwave and heat for around 30 seconds. When it comes out just pop it back into your Hot Hugs and snuggle away till you are nice and warm.
My only issue is fighting Ash and Sally for dibs on it as everyone wants a bit of this particular warm, lavender scented penguin.
To make sure you have the perfect Christmas tree
It has been years since we had a proper Christmas tree, last year we had a little driftwood tree which of course will come out again this year, but prior to that we either had no tree of a little artificial one depending on the space we had. As I’ve mentioned before we downsized when it came to the lounge and bedroom when we moved into the bungalow so while this tree is small, we still don’t have room for it inside. However, I of course made the most of it being real and potted and decorated it outside on the front porch.
I know, I know, I am far from the best tree decorator but it still makes me smile every time I see it and I hope it makes those visiting us or just passing by smile as well.
One of the best things about this Christmas tree is, it is a pot grown tree. which means this tree hasn’t been chopped off the top of a bigger one and is actually still alive and growing. Therefore once the Christmas season is over you can move it into your garden, keep it well watered over the summer months and it will be ready to use once again next year.

I do about 90% of my Christmas Shopping online. Just today i went out to get the 5 gifts I was not getting online… took me 6 hours and I only went an hour from my house. I have to say I love the little tree and candles! I have never heard of Ideal World, but I am going to check it out. 🙂

You have highlighted a bunch of great gifts here. I love the idea of transplanting a tree, it is so cold here in Chicago, that it is just not possible to have a potted tree. We dont’ warm up until April here.
I’m not sure how cold it gets with you but it is lasting well out here with our frosts and below freezing temperatures in the UK so far 🙂 x

Yes we have Cards Against Humanity we took it on holiday when we went with the other halves parents and oh my goodness. I’m not very good though, I seem to have a sense of humour all of my own haha!
I’m partial to online shopping as well. I hate to stand in a line, I had to deal with people pushing and all of that.
With two kids in my home cleaning supplies are a must. After cleaning up said mess I love a good candle to freshen the air.

Ideal World definitely has so many amazing gifts for the holiday season! Online shopping is one of my favorite ways to get holiday shopping done (especially since most stores offer free shipping around this time!).
