Christmas Gift Guide Part 1 – 2024
AD – This post contains samples I was sent for consideration for my gift guide in 2024.
This post contains affiliate links, buying via these links costs you nothing more but I get a small amount from the company – to anyone who uses my links thank you.
Due to my health, this year’s guides are starting a little later than usual. Hopefully, it’s worth the wait as I have some wonderful ideas that suit all budgets and recipients. You might even find something to add to your own Christmas list this year!
So without further ado, let’s get on with the gift ideas.
Escape Reed Diffuser from The Copenhagen Company.

If you are buying for someone who likes home scents then The Copenhagen Company is the place to check out. Offering a range of candles, diffusers, room sprays and more, this family-run business has had a passion for home fragrance since 1999.
The Escape Reed Diffuser features top notes of orange and lemon, middle notes of orange blossom, and base notes of cedarwood and vetiver. We’ve had ours in the living room for the past few weeks, and it diffuses a subtle fragrance around the room. It gives an uplifting boost when you smell it and has been created to bring about feelings of happiness.
The Escape Reed Diffuser comes in at £15.
Frozen Mint from LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW.

If you have a liquorice lover in your life, then the Danish liquorice brand LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is a must-know brand. This B-Corp registered company offers a range of treats perfect for the festive season.
The Frozen Mint treat is meant to remind you of a fresh, white winter and mixes sweet liquorice and soft milk chocolate with a hint of mint.
I got my parents involved in trying these out and they said: “We like them. The coating was lightly minty and crispy when you bite into it. Inside had a nice liquorice flavour and slightly chewy without the synthetic taste and overt chewiness of some brands.” So I take that as a very big thumbs up!
This 295g of Frozen Mint comes in at £14.95.
Christmas at VistaPrint
It’s not a Christmas gift guide without a mention of VistaPrint who offer great ideas for personalised gifts and treats every festive season.
This year, I got a couple of my parents’ photos from their adventures put onto items for them.
Metal Print

My dad really wanted to have a look at the metal prints. These prints use either brushed metal or coated white aluminium to give a unique finish to your images. The aluminium metal offers a textured, muted look with metallic highlights, while coated white aluminium provides vibrant, true-to-life colours and a smooth finish.
While just 3mm thick, they are made to be lightweight and sturdy, lasting for a long time. While I’ve not tried it myself, apparently, they are waterproof and can be used outside on a deck or a porch too.
The price of metal prints starts at £22.99.
Small Personalised Cushion

As a surprise, I also picked out this small personalised cushion. Coming in at 35.6cm x 35.6cm, I thought this photo worked perfectly with it!
One of the great things about their personalised pillow range is that you can even add images to both sides. I decided to go for a black back as I didn’t feel this photo worked as double-sided very well. The cushions are made from 100% polyester and are soft to the touch, including a built-in white zip.
A personalised cushion starts at £18.99.

Murder at the Matinee by Jamie West

An unexpected call from a competing playwright pulls Bertie into another mystery. A puzzling newspaper ad boldly claims a murder will occur during the third act of a play. But there’s a snag—no such murder is written into the script!
When a real victim turns up and the police get involved, Bertie finds himself working alongside Inspector Hugh Chapman once more. Their uneasy partnership is tested as they try to uncover the truth behind the killing.
Each suspect comes under scrutiny, but this time even Bertie isn’t above suspicion. Can old rivalries and differences be set aside to solve this cunning case?
Sound like a book for you? Grab it now from Amazon where it comes in at £9.39 for a paperback.
Contact Coffee Co.

Made by two Royal Marines, one who has now left and one who is still serving, the idea came from two people who were frustrated with the poor freeze-dried coffee they had during operations and exercises around the world. They wanted to come up with something more, that still allowed it to be brewed quickly with the least amount of supplies.
They prioritise field testing to make sure every product is “soldier proof” and tastes delicious over aesthetics. So while it might not be the best-looking packaging, it will taste good. Their coffees can be bought as a one-off, or as part of the coffee club, which offers a discount for subscriptions!
These boxes of 10 single-serve coffee bags come in at £4.99 each and make a perfect stocking addition.
