Christmas Eve Movie Night with Zavvi

A couple much loved films from Christmas past, present and most probably future happens to be the Die Hard 1 and 2, I mean, what’s better than an action packed film featuring Bruce Willis trying to save his family, who have been taken hostage by terrorists at a Christmas Party? Followed up by another Christmas Eve this time McClane is innocently waiting for his wifes plane to arrive, but some mercenaries have another idea, taking over the airport and not allowing planes to land they want the realise of a captured Latin American dictator – can McClane foil there plans and get his wife back on the ground in time for Christmas? I don’t want to say too much just in case you are yet to see them and if that’s the case what better time to grab yourself a copy, as I mean couldn’t they just almost pass as Christmas films?
Ash is a bit of a collector when it comes to films and games he likes to get the limited edition copies if possible, with his newest love being getting hold of steelbook covers for films which often come out as limited to one seller, and in run, editions.
Zavvi at the moment have up for Pre-Order the latest Die Hard in steelbook for just £14.99 so perhaps if you are looking for a last minute Christmas gift the promise of a to be realised in Febuary 2014 Die Hard 4.0 with Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition steelbook could be a present saver you have been looking for.

We always watch A Christmas Carol (1951) and It’s a Wonderful Life
A movie marathon is such a great idea since I haven’t had the time watching my fave films this past few months.. 🙂
I’ve only watch the first die hard. Will have to see if they have die hard 2 on Netflix =)
Hope you manage to find it – we need to see the latest one from this year. x
You have my boyfriend’s taste in cinema! I wish we had Xmas off here so I could enjoy a movie night, too. 🙂
Aww my other half was back at work today (Boxing Day) and got lucky with him having Christmas Eve off (feel on a normal day off) otherwise it would haven’t have been. x
I’ve never seen these but they look pretty cool to watch
These are some great Christmas Eve movies and they are classics too. They are some of my personal favorites.
The Die Hard movies are great to watch not just for xmas but on any movie night. Can’t go wrong with Bruce Wills
I’ve never watched this movie, because I rarely like action movies.
I have honestly never watched Die Hard. Maybe I should 😛
I remember Die hard back in the days when I was a kid, & its always good to pop that old dvd in to watch, I love Bruce Willis
Interesting. They look great. Full of action.
Have a wonderful holiday.
My dad would probably love this. Plus, he really loves watching Tv right before he sleeps no matter if tis christmas eve or normal days haha!
Excellent movie choices! The original Die Hard is one of my all time favorite movies.
I watch these every year and cry. They were my dad’s favorites and remind me of how much I miss watching him laugh through them.
have never been a big fan of Die ?hard but love christmas eve movie night we are going to watch Heat with sandra bullock
What a coincidence! We were just watching Die Hard a little while ago (first time for me). Gotta say, I think Alan Rickman is a great villain. 🙂
They say ‘Die Hard’ is always worth another watch, but I dunno – Alan Rickman as the villain? Colonel Brandon from ‘Sense and Sensibility,’ how could you?!?
Merry Christmas!
Each to their own its what makes us individuals would be boring if we all liked the same thing- I have to admit I do normally watch most things only thing I don’t really get on with is Westerns x
