  8. Thanks for the tips! It really takes a good measuring stick to judge your audience. You can really alienate your readers with something that is way off topic or not interesting.

  11. These two are great tools to get more readership on your blog. I use Social Mention, however, most of the time, my blog posts are about the stuff that interests me and my readers. Stuff like household hacks, parenting, travels, and pets.

  26. I love my Jetpack! I’ll have to check out Social Mention. Certain times of the year, the topics flow freely, like from back to school until after Christmas. Knowing our audience is really key and I’d also add staying true to yourself. Don’t try to write outside of your niche.

  27. When I’m choosing a topic for my blog, I try to always think about my audience and their needs. When I’m writing the post, I always make sure I’m showing my audience how to solve a problem. I need to use SocialMention to find out what’s trending.
