Bluebell – Lapis Lazuli Bracelet from Mosaico
I’ve spoken a lot about my love of jewellery and of course only the other day I spoke about gemstones and crystals.
So, of course, it is no surprise that I love when the two things come together.
I recently came across the amazing Mosaico. A company who are all about beautiful jewellery, made using only the most beautiful of gemstones.
Mosaico.
Mosaico is a company created by two friends, who came together over their love of gemstones and jewellery. Having originally met while working in a jewellery store.
Together they bring a plethora of experience to the brand. Jenny has ten years worth of experience within the industry, while Paula (the founder) a background in marketing and design.
They look to make unique designs, which use statement colours and allow people to stand out from the crowd.
Bluebell – Lapis Lazuli Bracelet.
I sent over a couple of ideas to the lovely people at Mosaico and they came back and said how about Bluebell instead.
I have to admit I am so glad they did as well as it is absolutely stunning.
This bracelet uses quality pieces of Lapis Lazuli. The vibrant colours of blue offer a beautiful contrast to the flecks of gold (pyrite crystals) within each stone. While this is also picked up by the gold clasp.
The length of the bracelet is adjustable and at the shortest length 7inches and is fitted with a trigger clasp. The clasp has been gold filled with a thick layer of 14ct gold and is hypoallergenic.
Each stone is unique but around 15mm x 11mm in size.
Lapis Lazuli.
One thing you have to say about Lapis Lazuli is the fact it is such a beautiful stone. As such it is unsurprising that is a much sort after stone and has been for a long time (it was highly prized in Ancient Egypt).
You may think you recognise the colour and you could well be right, as ultramarine dye is created by grinding up this beautiful stone. While the ornate sarcophagus of King Tutankhamen was in places inlaid with this stone.
Lapis Lazuli is said to be a stone of truth, encouraging honesty of the spirit. It is also a stone of friendship and harmony and for those in creative or public-performance jobs, wear or carry a piece to auditions or within the workplace as it can help with promotion, success and lasting recognition.
My Thoughts on the Bluebell Bracelet.
This bracelet is absolutely stunning. The stones used within it are just beautiful and you can easily see the fact that only the best have been picked to be used. These aren’t your everyday pieces of Lapis Lazuli.
The construction of the bracelet is unsurprisingly top quality as well. I would feel comfortable wearing this bracelet every day, no matter if it was a special occasion or just heading to the shops.
It has been made to sit comfortably on your wrist and really is a small piece of art you can wear.
