belVita softens your morning this winter
I have to admit the last few days have left me feeling a bit deflated, with sunset falling before 5pm it once again feels like there aren’t enough sunlight hours within the day and that makes my mood go downhill. However, the lovely people over at belVita sent me a sunshine package to help soften the blow of winter arriving and I have to say, I couldn’t help but smile when it arrived just before the weekend.
Of course this isn’t all about cheering me up, belVita have brought out a brand new range of Soft Bake breakfast bars which come in a choice of Red Berries, Golden Grain or chocolate.
belVita Soft Bake contain 5 wholegrains and rich in cereals. Add to which these bars are a great source of fibre and contain Vitamin B6, magnesium and iron. They have been proven to realise carbohydrates steadily over the course of up to 4 hours when eaten as part of a balanced breakfast, this is due to its inclusion of slowly digestible starch which helps keep your blood sugar more steady across the morning compared to food which are lower in slow to digest starch.
Personally in the past I have tried a number of different breakfast bars and biscuits and I have to say for me I am far more drawn to softer items at that time of the day and so those fill that want perfectly. When it comes to taste they are actually delicious; I assumed before trying that I would like the golden bake most out of the two I was sent, but in reality I discovered that the red berry variety is just delicious, as the berries add the perfect bit of flavouring.
One of the things that I love about the belVita Soft Breaks is the fact that each one is individually wrapped, meaning you can pop them into your handbag, in a lunch box or just grab and go and not have the worry about it being loose.
belVita Breakfast Soft Bakes are available to buy now from Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Tesco in Golden Back and Red Berry while the chocolate are exclusive to Tesco until January 2016, each box of 5 has an RRP of £2.79.
Personally I shall definitely be buying these again and can’t wait to try the chocolate ones.
What do you think of the sound of belVita Breakfast Soft Bake?

Never tried these – will look for some the next time I go out.
These sounds rather lovely especially the chocolate ones! I keep looking for things for breakfast that take my fancy, really gone off cereal and toast first thing for some reason!
I recently tried these and I really love the chocolate chip ones, they taste and smell like freshly baked cookies.. all gooey. Yummy

I like the BelVita biscuits. I actually won a giveaway that allowed me to try a variety, and I really liked the Honey Oat ones. I would take them with me on bike rides. I haven’t tried the Soft Bakes yet, but would like to.
They look good for breakfast on the run!
They sound delicious! I had never heard of them before, but I’ll have to see if they’re available near me.

I love BelVita biscuits. They are perfect if you don’t have a lot of time to prepare breakfast in the morning.
Sorry to hear that you have been feeling down but well done Belvita for bringing out a new range of bars. Love Belvita and my adoration for their brand has only heightened with this news!
I love the plain (golden oat) crunchy ones, but haven’t tried the soft ones! I use these for breakfast, or a snack before the gym. They are SO delicious!

my kids and I love Belvita biscuits. I did not know they made cookies, I so need to get these!
I have never ever tried a Belvita and until your post Sarah, I don’t think I have ever heard them.
They are well worth trying, do lots of different breakfast bars if these aren’t up your street as well.
