  1. The satisfaction that comes from actually clearing away the accumulated pile of stuff in my bedroom.

  2. Still getting hugs from my grandchildren and hearing ‘Love you Nan’ even though most of them are grown up now.

  3. Having a physical train ticket which I can hold instead of fumbling around trying to find the right ticket on my rather useless phone.

  4. I still love popping a fresh sheet of bubble wrap – the ones where the bubbles are really puffed out and make that really satisfying pop! I need to grow up 😀

  5. Sounds ridiculous and kind of childish.. but buying a 4 pack of yogurts and being able to snap one off while leaving the other 3 intact!

  6. I have recently been visiting several hospitals where finding a parking space is a nightmare adding to the general stress of visiting someone who is ill. Recently one of the hospitals opened an overflow carpark and the relief of not having to search/wait for a space was the best thing that happened to me all week

  7. I think I get excited when I’ve managed to get my children something I know they’ve wanted. Excited to see their reaction

  8. A weirdly satisfying thing that makes me feel excited is ordering clothes online and finding that they actually fit! I also love climbing into a bed with freshly washed sheets. However, I don’t actually enjoy making the bed as I hate wrestling with the duvet and duvet cover!
