Halloween is just a stone’s throw away, and while of course sweets are a must for the season, if you are looking for something fun to do, or something different to gift, I have a round-up of fun ideas to see you through the spookiest day of the year with this round up of Halloween gift ideas for the whole family.
Cableguys – Sally Controller Holder

If you are looking for the perfect mix of spooky and Disney, then Nightmare Before Christmas is always the answer, and Cableguys have a wonderful range of controller/phone holders from the series featuring both Jack and Sally.
The Sally photographed is from the larger-sized Cableguys range and comes in at approximately 22cm / 8.5 Inches (with a smaller version on offer that is around 4 inches in size). When holding a controller, Sally’s eyes just peek over the top of it, and of course, having a stand means you never accidentally misplace it before a big online match. While phones fit into hands when placed sideways.
The Sally Cableguy Stand comes in at £29.99 and can be bought from Amazon or EXGPro.
Facts and Rumours About Dragons

Do you want to know more about Dragons? Do you need to know the important facts and rumours that are going around about them? Then this book is for you.
From the anatomy of the species to how the friendship between dragons and humans started and ended, this book has it all documented for you. Learn facts such as: dragons can lick their elbows, and dragons don’t actually breathe fire; they just have really bad indigestion. Aimed at ages 6-9, this book is bound to draw a few giggles this spooky season.
Facts and Rumours About Dragons comes in at £14.99 and is available from good booksellers. For stockists, visit prestel.com.
Harry Potter Crystal ArtⓇ Sticker Album

Perfect for sitting down as a family, giving yourself 5 minutes peace, or just doing while you have a cuppa, the Crystal ArtⓇ range has come out with this fantastic Sticker Album dedicated to the much-loved Harry Potter franchise.
Coming from Craft Buddy, the Harry Potter sticker range is available as both a starter pack, which includes the 18-page sticker album, 2 sticker packs and all the tools you need, as well as additional sticker packs. Each sticker pack contains 3 mystery stickers, with a total of 102 to collect! One of the great things about these stickers is that they are made to be completed in about 5 minutes, so they don’t have to take you long, and they really can just offer up those few minutes of mindfulness some of us need.
The Harry Potter Starter Kit comes in at £9.99, while additional sticker packs are £3.99.
Heads Will Roll

Looking for a new board game to play with friends? Then this 2+ player game, which takes just 5-15 minutes, could be the perfect Halloween one for you.
Starting life as a Kickstarter campaign, Heads Will Roll was funded 6 times over. A dexderity game, you roll out the skull pieces each round and aim to be the first to hit 21 points, by flicking the shield piece to try and win (or lose) points, but they are only banked when you hit the chest!
Heads Will Roll can be bought from Amazon and costs £12.
Pumpkin Spice and Halloween Colours from Plus-Plus

Want to build a spooky Halloween monster, a pumpkin or even a bat? Then the Plus-Plus range for Halloween incorporates those perfect colourings for this time of year; they even have a set that includes glow-in-the-dark pieces, who wouldn’t want to build their own ghost!
Plus-Plus pieces are all the same size and shape, and yet offer endless building combinations. The original pieces come in at 20mm x 12mm, with the Pumpkin Spice tube containing 240 pieces in colours such as brown, orange, camel, vanilla, white, and burnt sienna, while the Halloween option contains 100 pieces in black, orange and yellow. The idea behind the pieces is that they can help with problem-solving and fine motor skills, while allowing for building in both 2D and 3D.
The Plus-Plus range can be bought in the UK via Amazon, where the Pumpkin Spice tube comes in at £11.99 and the Halloween one £6.99.
Halloween Candles from PartyLite

If you are all about festive scents and candle accessories, then PartyLite are a brand to get to know. They are a company I’ve used before and one I have come to think about having great throw on their wonderful scents, and some really nice candle holders. As such, I wasn’t surprised when I saw that their Halloween collection was the perfect encapsulation of this.
Fig Fatal is listed as a best seller on their website, and I can definitely see why. It is a really beautiful fragrance, which, if I hadn’t lost my sense of smell, I would have been burning as I write this. This three-wick fruity candle offers up notes such as fig and fruits, and vanilla. Coming in at £25.95, it offers a scent that fills the room in a really comforting way.
Witch-Way Tealight Holder is the perfect way to show just what I mean about PartyLite and their candle holders, isn’t it just fab! They also have a spider version as well which is so fun too! Hand-painted, this witch has crashed into a pumpkin where star cutouts help the candle light shine through! At the moment, this fun tealight holder is on sale for £14.97, with its RRP being £24.95
Hocus Pocus Universal Tealight™ Candles. All of PartyLites tealights are regular-sized, so if you want to use them with a holder you already own, you absolutely can! The Hocus Pocus scent includes notes of grapefruit, berries and praline, and a set includes 6 tealights of each colour (so 12 in total). I’ve always been surprised by the throw of tealights from PartyLite; you really can smell them around the room. This set is on sale right now for £6.57 with an RRP of £10.95.
Harry Potter – Nano Pods

Coming from WOW! Stuff, these are the Harry Potter Nano Pods. Each bag includes 1 surprise pod with a total of 12 to collect for wave one! With fan favourites to collect, such a Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, Luna and even some of the animals, such as Harry’s owl Hedwig, you are going to want to keep an eye out for the rare Gold Metallic finish Chase figure too.
One of the fun things about Nano Pods is that they can slot into each other for display, meaning you can build them up and show them off as you wish! Each nano pod is around 4.5cm in height, and they do have different fandoms on offer as well, such as Disney and Marvel!
Nano Pods Wizarding World can be bought from Amazon, where they cost £5.42 per pack.

With the weather getting colder, every home needs a Warmies. These cuddly friends can be popped in the microwave and warmed up, which, alongside the fact that they are slightly weighted and smell of lavender, helps make them a great way to help ground you after a long day.
Perfect for the autumn and Halloween season is this fun black cat! With its soft, floppy design, it can be easily put around your neck or shoulders to help ease any aches or pains, making it the perfect gift for any age. (You can also pop them in the freezer if you need something cooling).
The Warmies® Black Cat comes in at £24.99.
The Ghost House from Innocent Bones

Now that the days are getting shorter, you are looking for the perfect craft project to pick up, and you adore cross-stitch, then Innocent Bones has you covered. Offering both one-off cross stitch kits and a subscription box, they have you covered, no matter if you are a regular stitcher or a very slow one like me.

The Haunted House Kit comes in at £18.
Kuromi Roll Bag from Miniso

If you are looking for the perfect kawaii Halloween goodies, then Miniso has you covered. They cover so many popular characters from Minecraft, Squid Game, Disney, Sanrio and more, and if there is one character perfect for the spooky season, it perhaps has to be Kuromi.
The Kuromi collection at Miniso covers a wide range of items, which includes: tumblers, cutlery, socks, nightlights, keyboards, pillows and a range of storage items such as the roll-up bag in the picture above, which is perfect for using as a make-up or toiletries bag.
The online Kuromi range starts at £2.99, and if you are ever near a store, it is well worth popping in to see more of the range too!
Spooky Songs and Not So Scary Stories from Yoto

If you are looking for the perfect songs and stories to add to your Yoto this Halloween, then fear not, as they have some great options! From the ever-popular (and absolute must) Funnybones The Collection by Allan Ahlberg, a much-loved series from my own childhood and Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, to Yoto originals such as Halloween Songs and Halloween Stories, there really is so much choice! They even have Goosebumps, which I have recently been listening to again myself.
Each of the cards comes in at £7.99 (or 1 credit if you have a subscription) and can be played on your Yoto Player or Yoto Mini! Making it the perfect spooky addition to any children’s story or play time this year!
