Sweets Direct Review: A Pick ‘n’ Mix Lover’s Dream
AD
If you’re anything like me, the words Pick ‘n’ Mix instantly transport you back to happy childhood days, the excitement of that cup or paper bag with your favourites, then trying (and often failing) to resist nibbling before you get to the till. Well, thanks to Sweets Direct, that nostalgic joy is now just a few clicks away, and it’s even better when you can do it from your sofa in your pyjamas and have it delivered straight to your door!
A Sweet Selection for Every Appetite

One of the things I love about Sweets Direct is that their Pick ‘n’ Mix comes in a range of sizes to suit any craving, or excuse! You can go for:
- 250g – 5 picks
- 500g – 10 picks
- 1kg – 20 picks
- 1.75kg – 35 picks
- 2kg – 20 picks
- 5kg – 50 picks
I was kindly sent the 1kg option, which meant I could choose 20 different sweet treats. Honestly, it felt like the online version of standing in front of a giant sweet stand with a scoop in hand, only without the risk of someone knocking into you mid-scoop.
Easy to Navigate & Fun to Use
The Sweets Direct website is beautifully laid out and easy to navigate, to find the sweets of your choice, from pre-mixed sweet options, to retro favourites and more! You can even shop by sweet type if you know exactly what you want. They also have a 5-star food hygiene rating
When it comes to the Pick ‘n’ Mix page, one of my favourite features is the handy tracker that shows you exactly how many picks you’ve selected for your chosen size. It’s perfect for making sure you don’t accidentally miss out on a sweet you had your eye on or overfill your bag (although, is there really such a thing as too many sweets?).
Freshness Guaranteed

When my order arrived, I was impressed by how fresh everything was. The sweets come with a Best Before date for both when they’re sealed and after you open the pack, ideal for those with more willpower than me who might make them last longer than a few days.
The Pick ‘n’ Mix create your own range starts at £3.99!
Delivery & Dispatch
Sweets Direct, send via Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Tracked 24 (depending on how desperate your sweet tooth is). Dispatch is quick, just 1–2 business days, and delivery is free when you spend £45 or more.
A Little Something Back – The Loyalty Programme
If you think you might become a repeat customer (and I suspect you will), their loyalty programme is worth signing up for. You earn 10 points for every £1 spent, and every 100 points is worth 50p off your next order. It’s a sweet little bonus that adds up quickly.
Plus, if you really like Pick ‘n’ Mix, you can sign up for a monthly subscription and save 15% with the choices of 500g or 1kg and fizzy, non-fizzy or a mix!
Final Thoughts

Whether you’re stocking up for a movie night, sending a gift, or simply treating yourself because you deserve it (and you do), Sweets Direct makes it easy, fun, and delicious. With so many size options, a smooth ordering process, and the joy of creating your own personalised Pick ‘n’ Mix, it’s definitely a treat worth trying.
Tip: Just be prepared, choosing between fizzy bottles, jelly hearts, chocolate treats, and gummy bears is harder than it looks!
