Ludo is always a favourite – it’s easy and everyone can play, but it can get a bit competitive!

My favourite game is 20 questions. We have had it as an adult board game for many years but with our grandchildren we use hand made cards in a number of categories (according to their age) One of them keeps the score allowing 20 questions (Y or N answers only) for the rest to solve. They still ask to play it even though the youngest will be 13 on Boxing Day and can play the board game now!

We love to play a game we dubbed the ‘gift bag game’ you have to pick up the gift bag with just your teeth, and each round we chop a bit off. You end up trying to grab the gift bag off the floor with no hands and it gets hilarious!

UNO is a fantastically fun game to play with adults and older children. Easy to learn and you don’t get bored of it easily.
