Gin In A Tin – Sloe Gin Review
PR Samples – I was kindly sent a Gin in a Tin, Sloe Gin for consideration on my blog.
Gin is definitely a drink that has been picking up in popularity over the past few years and with many blends and ways to drink it on offer, this is perhaps of little surprise. If you do like the odd tipple of gin, then today’s post could be perfect for you as it delves into a British gin company – Gin In A Tin.
Gin In A Tin

The idea behind Gin In A Tin was born in the Cotswolds by a local gin connoisseur, Martin Agius. As a founder of various restaurants, brasseries & a hotel over the years, he had developed a love for gin which had already been shown via The Gin Pantry.
Martin Aguis used the knowledge he had gained from blending and mixing gins via The Gin Pantry and his love for juniper berries to come up with his very own collection.
Gin In A Tin offers a range of ways to buy their beautiful blends, from subscriptions, to gift sets and individual tins.
Knowing my parents do love a gin, I asked them to get in on reviewing their chosen Gin In A Tin blend.
Sloe Gin – No 15.

It is said a true English sloe gin is defined by its smoothness. While it shouldn’t be too sweet or sour and with the flavour of the gin shining through.
To create their blend of sloe gin, wild English sloe berries are harvested and added to the original gin blend for three to four months. This helps blend a gin in which you will find hints of orange and plum alongside the notes of the foraged sloe berries.
It is said to be enjoyed with game dishes, while in the winter months, a small amount in a hip flask can help warm you on cold nights.
For cocktail lovers, pairing the Sloe Gin with sparkling wine, will help create a Sloe Royle, perfect for summer nights with friends.
My Parent’s Thoughts on Sloe Gin

They both seemed to really enjoy this choice of gin and said:
Sloe gin has a sweet rich berry flavour, it is delicious on its own or as a gin and tonic. It also makes a nice cocktail when mixed with Prosecco.
Having enjoyed it on multiple evenings lately, I’m sure this is a gin company they will look into more.
If you fancy trying the Gin In A Tin Sloe Gin for yourself for 50cl it comes in at £35 and you can add a gift card for £1 more. Personally, I think it is well worth looking around the whole website as they really do offer some wonderful gift ideas, including personalised tins and gift sets.
Please remember to always drink responsibly and ask for help if needed.
