Reflex Active Black Pro Earbuds – Review

If you are looking for a pair of wireless headphones that offer value for money, then today’s post may be of interest as I introduce a brand who are all about offering affordable active accessories such as headphones and smartwatches.
When wearing headphones it is always good to be mindful of the volume settings and if you are suddenly finding you are turning yours up louder it might be a sign to get checked out somewhere like The Hearing Space just to be safe,
Reflex Active
Believing that you shouldn’t have to compromise on style when it comes to Smart Watches, Reflex Active offers a wide range of them which I shall delve into in another post.
However, they also offer a range of audio options, from sports models that offer a more stable over-the-ear design, to speakers as well as the pro collection I am talking about today.
Black Pro Earbuds
The Pro Collection is offered in both black and white and has active noise cancellation, safe and normal modes as a main feature. This allows you to choose if you would like to block out background noise or let it through depending on where you are. For instance, while you are travelling to work on the underground you might want to block out the chatter around you. Whereas if you are running in an open space you might want more awareness of traffic and conditions around you. Lastly normal allows you to pick an even balance between the other two options.
The headphones feature up to 6 hours of continuous playback. While the case charging feature helps bump this up to 25 hours.
They also come with a choice of 3 different sizes of earbuds, so you can try and find the best fit possible. Alongside offering voice so allowing you to connect to Siri or Google Assist via your phone.
What We Thought of The Black Pro Earbuds
I got Ash involved with reviewing these as he’s definitely more of a headphone user than me. We did have a bit of fun and games to start with as only one headphone seemed to connect, but I think that was partly us getting it a bit wrong. As such, I would say just be careful when you want to connect them to take both out of the case and connect together.
The sound on the headphones is good quality for the price point and on par with other headphones we use for the computer and other devices.
The earbuds themselves sit comfortably within the ears and it is nice to be able to change the sizes when connected to the computer we could see how much battery was left on the headphones themselves, however, it would be nice to have a charge indicator either via an app or on the charging chase.
Changing modes is easily done by tapping the touch point on the headphones and this area can also be used to answer phone calls as well. For taking phone calls there is an inbuilt microphone towards the base of the earbuds.
Overall I think we both agree these are a pair of wireless earbuds that offer good value for money and can easily be used across your daily life as needed.

Good value for money???
These earbud are a heap of junk. The sound quality is crap. Noise cancelation not functional. They are the worst earbuds I had. And the app is useless, it doesn’t detect them even though they are connected to my phone

I’m sorry you found that to be your experience, I can only speak on my own within reviews. It’s a shame you decided to be completely anonymous and not leave at least a name to your comment, are you someone who comments often and reads my posts a lot, I assume not as you say “guys”.
They would be perfect for my daily walk to and from work. This is concerning because I used to own a pair and I couldn’t connect them correctly. However, I believe that was just me being foolish because they were excellent when they did work. These are really good deals.
We had an issue connecting them at first, we managed to connect each bud to a different item (would you believe it) once we de synced it and re synced it they worked well.
No they wouldn’t. Trust me I bought a pair during my last flight as I forgot mine home and they are BAAAADD, like really bad. The worst sound ever

i need some headphone, my partner complains i keep him awake watching the laptop so having headphones would help, i’ve got some but they are hard and not comfy, i’m too tight to buy new ones lol
IT’s hard getting the right ones at times, I use eyemask ones at night as I lay in bed listening to audiobooks and they mean I can just fall asleep and it’s just cloth I’m laying on.
They’ll be great to listen to when travelling, and do like the fact it has noise cancellation as well

They would be fabulous for my walk to work and back. I had a pair in the past and couldn’t connect them properly so this is a worry but I think that was just me being stupid, when they worked they were great. Unfortunately my son has got them now haha so I would love a pair when I can get some. These are a great price.
They can be a pain to connect if you don’t get it exactly right, with these you need both out of the charging case and then connect if only one is out you will only connect that one headphone.
I never actually wear ear buds for anything at the moment but these sound a good quality option for the money
I used to use them a lot more than I do now as I would listen to music when walking Sal, these days it’s just when I’m listening to audiobooks.
I love that it has that feature where you can choose noise cancellation or not. I deliberately chose no noise cancellation because I was worried I would be stuck with it and it would be awful if I couldn’t hear someone calling me. But having that option there would be great when I’m in loud places.
It’s so simple to change as well, you just tap the side of the earbud and you get voice confirmation of it being changed and to what setting.
