  1. We used to buy cars from auctions, without a test drive. Until the time I found that the position of the pedals in the new (to us) car was exacerbating my sacro-iliac problems. We got rid of that car, losing money on the deal, and I have never bought without a proper test drive since then.

    1. It is so hard when you have to get a car for the first time and thinking about the things you need to know!

  3. Some good tips here. I like the sound of the vehicle finder, I’m always forgetting where I’ve parked especially in multistory car parks, nightmare

    1. It can be such a nightmare knowing where to find your car, can’t it? I have to admit I’ve got very lost once or twice.

  4. it is because we considered all those options why we opted never to buy a car, haha. It’s not something we can afford, traffic is awful because we live next to the blackwall tunnel and there is no where to park where we live

    1. Oh gosh, I have to admit I don’t know what I would do without a car living in a village with a bad bus service.

    1. Definitely the insurance is such a big thing and clean air zones are something I think a lot more people are going to need to look into.

  6. Great tips here, I would add one thing bring along a friend or family member with you, in case your heart rules your head and they may notice things that you might have missed
