  1. Going out in the fresh air preferably for a long walk definitely helps me mentally. I love the idea of a crisis box.

    1. It is amazing how getting out in the fresh air can feel so good and just give you a get away from it for a while.

    1. It is definitely worth doing – they are there and need to be listened to, not ignored, as our hurt often stems from them.

  2. Connecting with others is hard, especially when you’ve no family around and you seem to be annoying your friends with it constantly 🙁

    1. It can definitely be hard, I find groups on Facebook sometimes help me, but I would love other ways too.

  3. I think a crisis box is such a great idea. I have a go to playlist now on my phone which has helped. I’ve also found that building lego has helped me a lot recently. I find it really takes my mind off things because I have to concentrate! Although its an expensive mindfulness technique!

    1. Crisis boxes can be such a good idea, especially when you don’t know how to calm yourself it’s already all there for you. Ohh lego is an interesting idea! Something to get your hands doing something and your brain thinking too.

  4. I think it is about time I give some thought into creating a crisis box. I also love how you suggested to listen to your inner child. I always try to repress mine as I feel guilty for not trying to grow up. I know I regress a lot sometimes when I am down but maybe for once I should listen to her.

    1. Definitely let them come out – I think often we all think we shouldn’t listen to them, push them away, but they are hurt too so we need to look after our adult self and that hurt little child who is scared too.
