Lab by NS Eye Patch Review

PR Sample – I was gifted this selection of Lab by NS eye patches for consideration on my blog.

Have you ever used eye patches or under-eye masks? I have to admit once upon a time I used to be a bit sceptical about them. However, since using different types over the years I have become quite a fan.

Recently I was sent a couple of different eye patches from the Lab by NS range. Which really impressed me so I thought I would share them with you.

Who is Lab by NS?

Made by Natura Siberica (you can view a post on their Northern Soap here.) Lab by NS is a new addition to the range and specifically focuses on a range of eye patches.

This eye patch line has been cleverly made around the unique postbiotic active and fermented extracts of northern cloudberry and wild raspberry.

These extracts have been chosen to help support your skin’s natural microbiome. Which will in turn help increase your skin’s resistance to everyday living and the effects of pollution. It can also help to boost radiance, enhance regeneration and help towards maintaining healthy skin. As well as looking after your delicate eye area.

This helps make for a really impressive range. One that offers a selection of eye patches each of which has unique under-eye boosting properties.

Lab by NS Biome Hyaluronic Eye Patch.

If you are after an eye patch which is all about supporting your skin’s biodome and hydrating then this is for you.

This particular eye patch contains both low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. For anyone who hasn’t heard of hyaluronic acid before it is an ingredient often used in skincare. This is due to the fact it is hydrating and can help reduce the signs of fine lines and wrinkles.

The hyaluronic acid has been combined with postbiotic active, fermented northern cloudberry and wild raspberry extracts, these help shield the skin from the effects of everyday life, helping protect the skin’s youthful appearance. Lastly Provitamin B5 has been added, this is an ingredient which can help with skin repair.

Personally, I found this range to be really hydrating. If I felt the skin under my eyes was a little tight, popping these on for 15 minutes would really help.

Lab by NS Biome 24K Gold Rejuvenating Eye Patch

Next up is the Biome 24K Gold eye patch. Once again this utilises the fermented northern cloudberry and wild raspberry base, however this time it is joined by Polypeptide SYN®- COLL and Gold.

The Polypeptide SYN®- COLL helps to stimulate natural collagen synthesis in skin cells, which then helps to smooth out wrinkles. While the 24K gold is added due to the fact it can absorption of active components and help enhance their effects.

I have to admit I don’t really understand the inner workings of this patch. However, I really feel like it works for me. I have to wear hard contacts and often at the end of the day my eyes are feeling tired. However, I’ve found if I pop on a pair of under-eye patches I feel like at least the skin around my eyes has been a little soothed.

Overall Thoughts.

Both of these patches are cruelty-free and made on a natural patch base of northern algae. I feel like both offer a good under-eye patch, however, the Biome Hyaluronic Eye Patch is hydrating, while the Biome 24K Gold Rejuvenating Eye Patch is more soothing.

They are suitable for everyday use, meaning you get around a month worth in one tub for £9.99. Personally, I think this is really good value, especially with the quality offered.
