Fushi – Discovery Set: Review
One thing I have been really enjoying adding to my skin and hair care routine is oils.
Once upon a time, oil was something I stayed away from. Thinking as someone who has oily skin they would make it worse. However, as I have found this simply isn’t true.
As such, I was interested when Fushi got in touch about their oil discover set. Which takes 6 of their most loved oils and offers them up in a gift set for people to try out.
Who are Fushi?

Fushi means ‘eternal life’.
The brand was born from the combined cultural heritage of Rannesh and Ria. Using Ayurvedic recipes passed down from their grandparents, who used oils and herbs to create natural remedies.
From their London workshop, Fushi takes inspiration from old and new to help create pure, honest and carefully curated products.
Passionate about the whole process of their oils, they source all ingredients responsibly and with care for the environment. Growing stronger relationships with their growers as time goes on.
Fushi – Discovery Set.

The Discovery Set includes 6 of Fushi’s most loved organic oils each in 10ml bottles:
- Argan oil
- Camellia oil
- Jojoba oil
- Rosehip oil
- Avocado oil
- Sweet Almond oil
The oils are 100% pure, cold-pressed and unfined and come presented in an organic cotton Fair Trade pouch. With each oil having been chosen from the beauty range.
For instance; argan and rosehip are renowned for their rich vitamin content, offering revitalisation for both the skin and hair. In addition, camellia oil is known for skin healing. Meanwhile, avocado oil and its nourishing properties help with anti-ageing and skin replenishment. For deep cleansing and boost of vitamin E, sweet almond oil is a must. Lastly sweet almond rounds it off as a favourite for balancing and perfect for all skin types.
All of the oils in this range are vegan and cruelty-free.
My Thoughts.

One of the things I love about this set is how simple Fushi makes trying out oils. On the back of the packaging, you will find a rundown of all the oils included and their use across face, body and hair.
For me as someone who is only just finding the joys of using oils was a big help, as it helped point me in the right direction from the get-go. Meaning they are perfect for both oil starters as well as people who want to get a feel for the brand.
As Fushi oils are non-standardised, unrefined and natural oil, you have to be ready for each batch to look different. If you can see particles of the ingredients inside the oil it isn’t a fault, it’s just how natural this product is.
Personally I think this is a great way to try out oils and see if they work for you. After all, not every oil is right for everyone, so trying before you buy a full size is a good idea.
The oils included are all high quality and when you find the ones which work for you, I am sure you will notice a change in your skin or hair feels.
For me, I find using a hair oil such as jojoba on the lengths of my hair really helps keep down the frizz.
This is a great little bag to buy if you (or someone you know) wants to experiment with oils.
If you want to try this little bag of oils for yourself, it can be bought from the Fushi website where it comes in at £24.
Competition.
The lovely people at Fushi sent me an extra Discovery Set to giveaway to one of you lovely people.
All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is head over to the Fushi website and let me know using 8 words or more:
What item (other than the discovery set) would you like to try and why?
Good Luck!

I received the items shown in this post free of charge for the purpose of this review. This, however, doesn’t affect my opinions which are as always honest.
