The Prudence Shoes in Red from Mod Shoes
I’ve spoken before about this but I absolutely love that there are so many more different styles of flats hitting the market now. Recently I came across an amazing brand called Mod Shoes which offers gorgeous high quality shoes for both men and women.
There are a range of styles available in the ladies collection which come in both heels and flats.
What’s more is that they even offer exclusive footwear designed specifically for wide feet! Because everyone deserves to wear good shoes no matter what their feet are like.
Who Are Mod Shoes?
Mod Shoes is a small family run business which was established in 2011. They design all their own shoes, which are then made by people that they know, in small independent factories in Spain and Portugal.
They offer free UK mainland shipping on any orders over £30. They also offer worldwide delivery for an additional cost so you can get gorgeous shoes no matter where you are in the world.
Unsurprisingly, as a small business, they pride themselves on not only wonderful products but great customer service which means that they’ve got hundreds of happy customers all over the world.
The Prudence.
There is nothing quite like the shine of patent shoes.
This pair of patent leather shoes, in a Mary Jane style, just exude the style of Twiggy and the 60s.
They are available in black, bright red or white and include a cute little 1.5cm heel and a gel cushion inside to help with that all day comfortable feel. The red ones are definitely giving me Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz vibes!
The Prudence is made to a regular fitting and isn’t available in the wider range yet. I am between a UK size 6 and a 6.5 and don’t have the slimmest of feet and found that these fit well in length, while the bucket strap was also A-ok!
They are a little tight around the front, which doesn’t surprise me. As I said, I do have wider than average feet. However, the website also states they may need a little wearing in and, due to the soft leather, I think this will be an issue that soon eases off and they’ll become more comfortable.
In fact, some shoe trees and a warm airing cupboard have already helped soften up the leather.
Conclusion.
I am absolutely in love with my bright red Prudence shoes.
They are likely to become a much-worn pair over the coming weeks and months.
When it comes to Mod Shoes, I love their range and I shall definitely be back to order some more. I would be interested to try something from their wide range to see if they fit my feet better.

A shoe for wide feet is a really good idea. Not everyone has narrow feet and buying larger sizes isn’t usually the answer.

It is so hard isn’t it, I’ve always had wider feet and my Mum has very slender AA feet and has just the same issues as normal shoes are too wide for her.

Those are really cute shoes! I went to the Mod Shoes site and found quite a few pairs that remind me of my childhood. I wish they had those trainers for women.
I believe the trainers are pretty new to them so it could be women’s are coming 🙂
These are super cute and i would definitely wear them. I will share Mod Shoes with my friend. She has the same size feet as me but she has a wide foot so struggles.
It is so hard when you have wide feet to find something nice, I often just live in trainers.

They have lots of different ones, not all have straps across so might be worth having a nose.
