  1. Love this post! I honestly find myself getting upset more frequently during the winter time. However, I am learning to let go of perfect weather and find ways to enjoy life during any type of weather!

  3. Great post! I would love to hear more about the 4-7-8 breathing method. Slower breathing always helps me in the moment when I’m having an anxious or low day so a specific way of handling it would be even better 🙂

  4. I believe that SAD lamps can help with the mood when days get shorter and also supplementing with vitamin D is useful. I am really not looking forward to short and dark days, it certainly affects my mood and motivation!

  5. I can totally relate to my depression getting worse in the fall and winter months. These are all great tips for dealing with the “winter blues”. I for one find that taking a vitamin D supplement can also help. Vitamin D deficiency, which is fairly common, can cause depressive symptoms too.
