  1. I passed my test 3 years ago and up until January I had a little Renault Clio. it finally gave up the ghost and I had a moment of craziness and bought a huge Vauxhall Insignia!! dont know what came over me -(scratched it all already doh)

  2. I never knew all of the different cars the Royal family has, but I love that the Queen has a Jaguar and put in a custom compartment for her handbag! I love the style of the older models, I wish we had more here!

  3. All these royal cars seem to be low mpg gas guzzling machines; wouldn’t it be nice if some royals were to go electric or at least hybrid.

  4. I would pick the Aston Martin although wouldn’t say no to any really! For now I will continue pottering around in my little golf…

  5. Such incredible cars that have amazing features. They definitely have a great choice when it comes to their cars hope to have a chance to touch it or at least to see it.

  6. The cars have changed over the years. We are pretty practical when it comes to cars. My husband drives the newer car because he was driving far to work on a daily basis.

    I drive the old 05 SUV that is beat up with hail damage. Its paid for so I have been fixing the minor things over the last two years. It has 130000 miles but that is low considering how old it is. Im keeping it until it dies completely

  7. Prince Charles’ car fueled by wine grapes is so awesome! I love that the Queen still likes to drive herself around the estate.

    1. It is amazing isn’t it – not sure I would like to have to fill up so often though lol.

  8. My dream car has always been a Range Rover so I’ll go with the Range Rover Discovery. I’m going to buy not only one, but two (black and white)…once I win the lottery. LOL.

  9. That’s pretty cool to know. I never really knew that they had their own cars. I just assumed all cars are government cars, lol. I’m not sure why. But thanks for this, it’s really nice to learn more about the cars that they drive! I wonder what the newly weds will choose in the future.

  11. I’m honestly happy with my 10 year old car, but it would be nice to be able to adjust my seat with my phone. This would come in handy after my husband drives the car and moves the seat!

    1. It would be great especially if you could have a setting for exactly where you want it and all you have to click is a button and off it does and aligns itself.

  13. Rolls Royce is such a classic royal car which I think will be featured at the royal weekend. These are all cars goals!

  14. Some interesting facts! I always imagine just the Bentley and the Aston Martin for a mid life crisis lol. It certainly is interesting to see the choices of the royals when they can have anything they want.

    1. Oh my goodness haha I’ve never heard of them thought like that before haha! Love it.

  16. I’ve never really paid much attention to their cars so it was fun to read more about who rides what car. I am also now looking forward to what Harry and Meghan will pick in the future!

    1. It will be interesting to see, I think there always going to be just a bit different to the “norm”.

  19. I would not say no to being driven around in a bentley. Actually, i would probably went to drive it myself! I did not know the royal family owned all those cars

  20. These cars are all fantastic, but personally, I think the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a more practical thinking when it comes to choosing cars. The Land Rover is perfect for a growing family.

    1. I have to agree, they have definitely gone for practicality over anything else with their choice.

    1. I didn’t learn to drive till my mid-twenties, Ash can’t drive he was learning but then got ill and we need to resubmit everything to the DVLA before he can learn again as it’s an illness they have know about.

  22. I really do love to look serious Royal cars. We drive a 97 Suburban. I kind of wanted a grade, but at the same time our current family cars completely rust-free and just hit 100000 km so is in amazing condition.

    1. Sounds like me and my car – it’s an 04 reg has 60,000 miles on the clock but it has hardly ever had an issue, so I’m loathed to get rid of it for something that might.

    1. I think there isn’t much about them that we don’t know – which in some ways is a bit sad as well.

  24. I’m not really a huge car person, but hey if you’re royalty you might as well go all out. I wouldn’t expect them to be driving a truck. All of these models look beautiful though.

    1. Most definitely when you can have a car that runs on grapes you can really have anything lol.

  26. I didn’t realize the Land Rover was a seven seater! That would definitely be the dream car – especially with our growing family!

  28. I really enjoyed your post. I never have thought about what the Royals drive so I found all of this information very interesting. There are a few cars I wouldn’t mind having but not sure I can pick just one.

    1. Even the Queen drives. Though I don’t believe she has a drivers license as they are issued in her name so she doesn’t need one.

  31. Well, I don’t drive a royal car, but I do drive a Tahoe – that’s good enough for the fam. These cars are so scarce in my area – I hardly ever see one. Nice though.

  32. All these cars are fantastic and I will only get as close as my TV to any of them. It adds to the festivities to see such great cars for the royals.

  33. My other half works for Bentley, so he will be pleased to see one on the list! I love that the Queen has a Jag! 😉
