  1. You can never be too careful while traveling as so many things can go wrong. So its wise to always be careful with where we go and what we eat.

  2. When I am traveling I always only drink canned or bottled drinks and am very picky about what I eat. I really only go on cruises out of the country so I just stick to what they have for the most part and avoid stuff on ports.

  3. My last international travel was to England to see family. The trip was great but upon my return my baggage with all my gifts was lost by the airline and never found.I was heartbroken and they never rectified the lost. Loosing my baggage is a major concern for me

  4. You suggested some great tips. Being prepared is always great. Nothing could be worst than getting sick on vacation and not being prepared.

  5. I don’t even know how someone can travel without a breakdown. Staying fit is another top priority and insurance much needed. Great post.

  6. I don’t understand people who go on vacation without budgeting for it first. It’s the biggest mistake a traveler can make! As for staying healthy, sometimes you can’t have control over it, but this is why it’s important to have a good travel insurance.

  7. I’ve always said, preparation is the key. These are great tips though, because some things, like sickness, happen unexpectedly but u have to know exactly what to do when these situations arise.

  8. I once had food poisoning while traveling and it was terrible – but thankfully it happened towards the end of the trip. I am glad I had brought some medicine with me to relieve the pain.

  9. I never really had issues while traveling. The minor issues I encountered were met with laughter. It was part of the adventure. But I imagine how bad being ill while sick can be! xx corinne

  10. I’ve only traveled internationally a couple of times and thankfully had no issues. Your point about having finances in order and knowing what to do should illness strike are spot on. I’ve had problems with both while traveling stateside. Not fun at all!
