LEGO Star Wars for Christmas
Last week I took a walk down memory lane with Furby’s for Christmas, this week I’m looking at something that has most likely been on many of our Christmas lists at one point or another in some shape or form and that is LEGO; specifically Star Wars.
LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar – £24.99
If you love LEGO and are looking for a way to count down to the big day in style, then their range of advent calendars is a must. Of course we went for the Star Wars one which features 24 doors of LEGO delight.
Hiding behind each door is a LEGO figure just waiting to be put together and of course in the name of reviewing Ash took out all 24 days at once and spent a good few hours putting them all together. Which means for every door you open in the run up to Christmas, you are getting a good helping of LEGO playing goodness.
I, of course, didn’t want to spoil what is behind every day but thought it would be nice to see a couple of what lurks behind a few of the doors. What’s behind the rest of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar? Well you will have to buy it yourself to find that out.
LEGO Star Wars Episode VII Kylo Ren LED Key Light – £6.99
Next up comes perhaps the perfect present to pop in the top of a stocking for a Star Wars fan, as it allows them to see what the rest of the stocking contains even in the dark. The torch doesn’t require any assembly and comes complete with batteries so all you need to do is press Kylo Ren’s belly to see the light.
The light from this torch comes from the feet of Kylo Ren, which as with all LEGO characters are movable, so you can point them in front or behind the character or one each way if you feel like it. The light also hangs from a key chain, allowing you to place them on your keys if you would like to.
LEGO Star Wars Captain Phasma Buildable Action Figure – £15.95
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this figure of Captain Phasma and was surprised by how it actually came together. I believe it took Ash around an hour to put together (that’s with us nattering and me distracting him). We found there were a couple of spare pieces in the set, however the instructions were easy to follow and it has definitely had a few complements since it was put together.
It is definitely something you could use to have a show and Ash has expressed interest in getting some more from the range to get more of a collection going.
LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex’s AT-TE – £76.95
Perhaps one of the most iconic walkers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, animated series and also seen in Episode II Attack of the Clones, is the AT-TE and here you can build it in all it’s glory in LEGO. This great set sees you rebuilding your own All Terrain Tactical Enforcer and includes 5 LEGO characters including Captain Rex himself.
We are yet to completely finish building this LEGO beast, but it is definitely well on its way to being a piece to behold.
So there you have some of the great items of LEGO Star Wars which you can now buy from John Lewis. Ash and I personally think they have a great assortment on offer, all of which will make for a great Christmas present for LEGO or Star Wars fans, with items available for every pocket.

That has got to be the coolest advent calendar I have ever seen! My daughters grandad is a huge Star Wars fan and he would love any of these just to put in his collection. Think we will definitely get him the advent though as he will love it xx

Oh wow. Lego has indeed come a long way. When we were little, Lego just meant building blocks. Now there are so many different scenarios and figurines! My nephew would love to have this Lego Star Wars. I’m checking the price and maybe get this for him for Christmas.

My husband is a huge Star Wars fan. He is also a big kid. He would probably love these. I don’t know how big of a fan of Lego he is, but I am sure he would like them.

I got my little lad a lego advent calendar a few years ago, but now, unless it contains a football, he’s just not interested!
My girls are very into Lego’s right now. I love that they are getting older and can complete the figures on their own!

Love, love, love LEGOs! A LEGO advent calendar is such a cute idea! Getting a new LEGO each day sure beats a piece of chocolate that you eat and then it’s gone in a flash!
They do a whole range as well – so there is so many different ones to choose from! x

These are on my son’s wishlist for xmas but also from my husband as well. They both love Star Wars.
