  1. I would love to viit all the places. History fascinates me and everything has such a wonderful past. I would marvel at the architecture!

  2. Definitely all wonderful places to visit. The only one I haven’t been to is the Lake District but it’s very much on my list to visit soon!

  3. I’ve never visited Birmingham before but a good friend of mine lives there so I’ll have to make a visit to her over Christmas so I can go to that market!

    1. Definitely it is a really good market – gets busy so early and weekdays are the best time to try and get there. x

  5. The lake district is a definite yes! It’s so beautiful! Although being from Blackpool and the local area, I wouldn’t advise it!

  6. Funny you should write about this, as my hubby and I were just talking about UK weekend breaks! Sometimes you can do such great things here in the UK. We love the Lake Disctrict – perfect for long walks!

  8. Oh my goodness! Such beauty and so much to see! The UK is definitely on my travel bucket list! I really want to take a few weeks to visit the UK, Ireland and Scotland!

  9. I’m lucky enough to live in the Lake District, I’ve always wanted to visit Cornwall but it’s a trek from the North!

  10. That is beautiful UK is listed on our bucket list too. I’m in the middle of processing my US Citizenship and I can’t wait to get approve soon. So I can travel across the world hassle free.

  11. Can proudly say that I have been to all 5! I love the UK! Blackpool is my favourite! The theme park and right across is the splash park and then the beach! perfect weekend scene for me!

  12. I had a weekend in Blackpool a few weeks ago and the illuminations were great. Had a fantastic time!

  13. I would love to see Birmingham next! London was amazing and you’ll really understand why people fall in love with the place once you visit! I can’t wait to go back again with my daughter!

  16. I’m absolutely OBSESSED with going to Blackpool! Nobody understands it, but I’ve never been there, and before I get my citizenship, I’ve got to. Because what kind of a Brit would I be if I hadn’t been to Blackpool on me ‘ols?!

  17. Most definitely London! We love visiting Covent Garden and Somerset House. We’ve never visited Birmingham! Great list

  18. Blackpool Illuminations is where I would love to experience autumn. I love the tower and how beautiful it looks. Thanks for sharing these awesome places.

  19. I have never left the country but it sure looks like there are many fun places to visit. I keep telling myself that there is so much to see here that I don’t need to travel to another country but this looks like fun!

  21. Cornwall is such a beautiful place, I remember visiting as a child for the eclipse (showing my age) and it was lush!

    1. It is wonderful isn’t it – I would love to move there, be near some lovely family and the sea 😉 x

  24. I have never visited England but it is on my bucket list. I’d love to see London and Cornwell. I’ve heard so much about them from friends who live there.

  26. I’m thinking the German Christmas Market in Birmingham is my spirit animal for sure. I love a good market, I get some of the best finds. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any of these choices.

  28. I loved the Birmingham Christmas market last year and I really want to make sure I go again this year. I am so biased about London though as I love it. There’s so many awesome places across the UK x

  29. How cute does that Christmas market look! I have never been to Birmingham before :(. I have been to Blackpool but only when I was in a pushchair and my mum said I had told her the illuminations looked like traffic lights at home hahaha xx

    1. I haven’t been to the Eden Project since it was being built many years ago! My cousin did his work experience there though and loved it a couple of years back.

  30. I would love to go back to the UK. I was able to visit London for a few days before heading to Italy and I had a great time.

  31. A great list, we were supposed to be going to Cornwall this year but never got there, I love the Lake District, London we are lucky enough to live close by to visit anytime we want and always love going x
