The Wizard of Oz at Snap Dragon Designs

I remember loving watching the Wizard of Oz as a child, I could just imagine heading off on my adventure with my faithful dog by my side, though I’m not sure I would want to run into some of the people and creatures Dorothy meets.

So when I came across Snapdragon Designs and saw they have a selection dedicated to one of my favourite films, I just knew that I had to give them a try.

Snapdragon Designs are run by a husband and wife team in Kent, so when shopping with them you know you are really helping talented designers from the UK.
Among other things Snapdragon Designs offer a whole host of laser cut jewellery with some of it coming from your favourite films and fairy tales.

The lovely people at Snapdragon Designs kindly treated me to two pieces from the Wizard of Oz collection.

Toto Earrings

These cute little earrings are laser cut from silver acrylic and use silver plated, lead and nickel free butterfly backs.

I completely admit the photos of these do not do them justice, these earrings are beauties, but they do reflect the light, so I couldn’t get a good picture of the colouring.

As well as being perfect for Wizard of Oz fans these are bound to appeal to dog lovers as after all they are just beautiful, I have to say I can see me using them a lot in the coming months – after all who wouldn’t like to wear pups on their ears?

The Toto earrings cost just £7 a bargain I must say!

Wizard of Oz Ring Set

Next up is the best-selling Wizard of Oz ring set – once again this has been laser cut from acrylic and you are bound to recognise Toto sat in there, alongside Dorothy’s slippers and a the green witches hat.

As with all the rings on Snapdragon Designs there is a choice of 4 sizes: Small / Medium / Large or Custom I think if I am remembering correctly a small is around 14mm medium 16mm and large 18mm.

As the ring comes in three separate parts it is up to you how you wear it, you can either position all three on one finger in your choice of order or of course you could wear them across different fingers.

I can’t wait to play with them and see how I like to wear them best, there are such a such a great statement piece and I bet you won’t find too many of your friends wearing them, well at least not until they see you in them.
