Dove Gift Set – Be You Wash Bag
I love all the gift sets that companies launch at Christmas, they make perfect Christmas gifts for women. I totally fall into the “what an amazing bargain” category of shopper when I see them. When it comes to your favourite brand or even one that you like to buy as a special treat, it’s almost guaranteed that they will have made some sort of special gift set to tempt you with. So here’s my review of one of the Dove nourishing gift sets.
About Dove
As a brand, I have long been drawn to Dove. Not only do I find that their products work really well but I like their ethics too. They are all about making women try and find the beauty within themselves. We often seem to be overpowered by photo-shopped, filtered, completely unobtainable images of flawless skin and perfect features. Dove is taking a stand against that with both their Self-Esteem Project and the Campaign for Real Beauty so it was a pleasure to review one of their Christmas Gift Sets.
Dove Christmas Gift Sets
The first thing I noticed about the sets from Dove this year was the names many of them have. They have names that are up-lifting, such as Happiness, Real Women, Beautiful You and the one I was sent – Be You – to name a few. All of the sets are wrapped up in a box containing self-esteem boosting quotes to give you a smile when you open it.
The Be You gift set includes:
- Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter Hand Cream (75ml)
- Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter Nourishing Body Wash (250ml)
- Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter Lotion (250ml)
- Dove Wash Bag
This gift set contains full-size Dove products. The Dove Purely Pampering items if bought separately come in at around £10 and the set has an RRP of £12. This means that you are paying just over £2 for a nice wash bag which of course always comes in useful for taking on holiday with you. You could also use it for just storing makeup in at home, even if you aren’t going away.
Purely Pampering Range
I haven’t used the Purely Pampering range from Dove before so it was really nice to get to try it. I have to admit I have been impressed. The range offers a soft, clean scent throughout, with each item complimenting the next. Together they offer a moisturising and hydrating experience that helps you feel both clean. It leaves your skin safely protected behind that moisture barrier from the start. In fact I am really tempted to buy all of the products again, I loved them so much.
As for the gift set, well, I’m thinking I might buy it for some people this Christmas. It just so happens to be in the Boots 3 for 2 gift promotion as well. As well as this one, Dove do a whole host of gift sets including Dove Men Care for the men in your life.

Dove is my favorite body wash. It smells great and really does the job. The best part is that it is so reasonably priced. My favorite scent is the cucumber and green tea.
I love gifts that can actually be used and don’t just contribute to the clutter in my home.

I admit, I stock up on gift sets like this one during Christmas, not as gifts but to stock our own supplies. The pricing is often better or gives you the opportunity to try another product in a line you already love.

We love Dove soaps, the body wash is the only one my son can use on his sensitive skin. We also use the Dove lotion as I have very dry skin and it seems to be the best.

I use Dove body wash regularly and I love it. My skin is sensitive, so I can’t use just anything and Dove leaves me so clean and soft. I just love it.
