I love the idea of running, and quite regularly jump on the couch to 5K app. However, I don’t actually enjoy running, and have never got past week 5 of the app. I keep thinking I should, and then I reassure myself that I really don’t need something else to beat myself up about! I get the feel-good buzz and relaxation from a really good walk in countryside, along a cliff or the beach, or from thrashing up and down the swimming pool. I’m not good enough at running to get the feel-good buzz. Should I keep at it?

  3. I haven’t ran in a long time, other than running for the bus. The last time I remember running long distances was definitely for secondary school. Sadly running is no longer for me due to my current health. Also, is it possible to run long distances for people who wear glasses?

    I dream of running though as I love walking long distances. Maybe one day when I reach a healthier weight I can start running as a coping mechanism. Like you my mental health deteriorated once I had my second child and I’ve been struggling since
