  1. I am definitely guilty of stress eating and god doesn’t this make you feel so much worse!! I suffer with anxiety which is related to my hormone cycle and I feel so bad at times but I know that it will get better when the cycle changes so I ride it out but it’s awful. Clutter definitely doesn’t help, a tidy place to live definitely makes me feel better. Great tips

  2. When you mentioned change of scenery I immediately thought holiday. Sometimes I do I am a holiday junkie. It’s the only time I can have a long period of reduced anxiety and also feel excitement for the day. It’s definitely not long term solution but it still a nice break from every day anxiety.

I also learnt how stress balls work now. I always wonder how they reduced stress. I thought their purpose is to reduce anger by taking it out on the ball.

For me music and breathing helps me the most, It is the most immediate effective

  3. When I’m having a particularly bad day/week I find that leaving the radio on helps a lot because my mind tends to wander less.
I definitely agree about pets, my cat is truly my comfort, and her just being sat next to me is massively calming.
