  1. I have this destination on my “to go list” for a while now. After reading this article I will ensure the place with my wife and collect as many memories as we could to cherish for years to come.

  2. It does look lovely, that sea looks so inviting, beautiful A few years ago, we took 12 weeks out,and went to Spain, and lived in a house, we did all the shopping, We went in November and come back 3 months back later, and we really enjoyed it, the Tv was very rarely used, we read a lot we got books and then took them back and got some more. I do read but up until then I had never seen the O/H with a book, never mind read one, It was really good I would recomend it, I found the place, just by an advert in a shop window. We rented a house, paid the bills like you do far cheaper than a hotel.

    1. That sounds absolutely incredible – I have to admit I love renting a place to stay these days over hotels, I just find it more comfortable if it’s anything more than a night or two.

  3. Ha ha! I’m with all those who didn’t thinki t possible to relax or unwind in Ibiza! Isn’t it all deafening music and non-stop dancing?! I’d probably prefer to travel due East and settle on on of the many, many Greek islands. I particularly liked Mykonos – so clean, vivid blue and whitecolours everywhere.

    1. No there are some absolutely stunning places to visit and relax on Ibiza! The history there is incredible.

  4. Stunning, I have to say that the party lifestyle reputation has put me off Ibiza. I will have to reconsider as we start travelling again

    1. Definitely it is worth looking into you just need to plan exactly where you would like to visit.

    1. Oh wow, I hope you have an amazing time – I’d love to know if you go to any of the places I have mentioned.

  5. I’ve never really wanted to visit because all you hear about is the nightlife. But I can see now it has so much more to offer

    1. It has so much to offer, I think the other sides of Ibiza just aren’t spoken about enough, it really has so much on offer.

  6. I think most people associate Ibiza with clubbing, drinking etc – but there is of course a much more quieter and beautiful side to it as well.

  7. I always thought Ibiza was for young party-goers who love loud music! These photos are very scenic and remind me of Greek holidays. Thanks for opening my eyes.

  8. I’ll save this page for when I next visit Ibiza. So easy to just do an all inclusive and not leave the hotel

  9. I love Ibiza, I’ve been a few times on holidays with friends to do the clubbing scene and have also been on quieter family holidays and always enjoy going back

  10. All the beaches in Ibiza are unbelievable! I had an amazing holiday there a few years ago and didn’t go to a single club

  11. I’ve never been interested in Ibiza as I’m not into clubs these days, this post is a game changer!the flower festival and hippy markets sound right up my street xx

    1. The Hippy Markets sound incredible, don’t they? I so want to go and visit them all myself, I love artisan products.

    1. I hope you get to go and explore Ibiza one day. Fingers crossed, the pandemic will be over soon for us all.

  12. It looks like Ibiza is well worth looking at for a quiet holiday so long as we can have a quiet flight there it will be ideal for us.

  13. Very interesting. I’ve been wanting to go to Ibiza for a while. I’m not much of a history lover generally but the Old Town definitely looks intriguing!

  14. I have clearly been hoodwinked by ‘false news’; I didn’t realise there were are quiet, relaxing parts to Ibiza. I thought it was party central 24/7 and strictly for those in their twenties or younger!

    1. I only know as my Mum has spoken about it as went to the quieter side and said it was absolutely stunning. I really want to see The Old Town myself.

    1. Definitely – I think it has a bit of a reputation these days, but you can definitely look beyond that, it has a lot to offer which isn’t just partying.

  15. I have had some great holidays in Ibiza and miss going abroad on a whim. Not sure I could cope with international travel anymore and it is such a phaff in a wheelchair

    1. I have to admit I’ve sat and thought I would love to be by a beach but taking a wheelchair with me sounds a real hassle. Perhaps I’ll stick to England.

  16. Great post looking forward to actually having a holiday this year. Will now defiantly be considering Ibiza as a destination.

  17. It does like a perfect place for a holiday, the sun, those beaches and the local markets and towns make me want to book my holiday right now
