  1. I’ve never visited Liverpool. It sounds like I need to get out and visit more parts of the UK. It sounds like a great place to go with friends and explore the sites.

I’m not originally from Liverpool but I love it and moved to the Wirral 27 years ago which is just across the river Mersey., I then lived in the city centre for 4 years before moving to Southport which is only 18 miles away, I won’t move any further away. We visit the museums, shops and restaurants on a regular basis. The Liver Building is my all time favourite and Anfield is something else.

  3. I would love to visit Liverpool’s museum, and to experience the place where the Spice Girls was born! British music gives so much inspiration for many music creators.

  5. Liverpool is such a charming place. Yes, I associate it so much with The Beatles. I do want to visit it when I get to travel to Europe.

  7. I would love to go to Liverpool and learn more about the Beatles. During my trip to Hamburg last year I’ve learned about how the German city has pushed their career, so I’d like to know more about their home town and the start of their journey.

  10. I love Liverpool and was supposed to head there in May but we have had to postpone our trip. I have visited quite a few places there but missed the Beatles Museum, would love to check this out when I go visit next

  11. I loved Liverpool when I went a few years ago. The ghost tour was the only thing I didn’t do, but I’m super jumpy so it’s probably for good reason x

    1. I can understand that it is something that isn’t for everyone but I thought it was a fun idea to include for some.

The cathedral looks stunning – I can’t believe he was 22 when he designed that!! Thanks for this fun list, I’ll bookmark it ready for when I finally visit Liverpool.

  19. I still have not been to Liverpool but I have heard so many friends, as well as friends of friends, talk about their experience visiting the city. That cathedral is massive.

  25. Those are all great suggestions. My oldest son loves music so the Beatles Story and the British Music Experience would definitely be on our list.

  26. We don’t live that far away from Liverpool so visit fairly regularly. We really love the Museum of Liverpool and the Maritima and Slavery Museum.

    1. It is definitely somewhere to go if you love the Beatles – there is so much around to do with them.

  28. We had a lovely weekend coach trip and tours :- Liverpool, etc a couple of years ago. Also have some family in Liverpool and managed to catch up with them on that occasion.

    Another trip to Liverpool would be nice sometime. I would like to visit the museum, have a walk around the Waterfront. Visit family. Tour the area, find out more of Liverpool’s history, etc.

  29. I adore Liverpool. It is such an incredible city. We were hoping to go back this year with my Beatle obsessed Dad, We took him last year but just for the day and there was so many more things he wanted to do.

    It is definitely somewhere we will be heading to as soon as we can. Great post x

  30. What a great guide for things to do, add in the great nightlife of Liverpool and it would be a fantastic place to visit for a long weekend!

    1. Ohh that’s a good idea – I would love to get to go and explore more of the city! Even just go shopping.
