5 Ideas for Mother’s Day Presents 2025
PR Sample – I received the coat from Cotton Traders included in this post for consideration on my blog.
Mother’s Day is the perfect time to treat your mum to something special. After everything our mums do for us all year round, it’s time they got something to show them how much they mean to us. I have put together a few ideas to help you get the perfect present for your mum this Mother’s Day.
If these gifts don’t quite fit, you could also buy one of these Kendra Scott rings.
Bouquet

Sometimes there is nothing quite like a bunch of gorgeous flowers, personally, I find they brighten up a room, can smell amazing and just make me smile.
One of the great things about buying flowers is you can take them yourself or have them hand-delivered on your behalf. All you need to know is a colour palette or favourite flowers for your Mum.
I suggest looking to local florists to compose your bouquet, not only do they look the best, but they often offer better value for money.
Experience Day
If you want to give the gift of a memory that will last forever, then an experience day might be what you need.
From designing perfume to taking a balloon flight, and driving a fast car, there are so many different experiences you can go for, no matter your mum’s taste.
You could even add on a plus one and maybe your Mum will ask you to experience the day as well.
A New Coat

Cotton Traders have some great ideas for Mother’s Day this year, from home essentials to a whole host of clothing ideas.
If your Mum is anything like mine then perhaps this short waterproof jacket would be a good idea? She loves to walk and on spring days this waterproof will not only help keep her warm but keep the chills at bay.
Offered in navy and light jade, it comes in sizes 10 to 24 and costs £64.
Handmade Gift
If your budget is low and you have a crafty talent, why not make your mum something yourself? From cards to actual gifts there are many things you could turn your hand to, and isn’t there just something really special about receiving a gift someone has created themselves?
If you are unsure where to start, then Pinterest and blogs have wonderful ideas and often complete “how to” guides on how to make something.
Pamper Session

Does your mum deserve a little bit of TLC? Well, then, how about booking her a pamper session?
From full spa days to some time out to have a manicure or a hamper of products put together by yourself so she can have some time out at home.
The ideas around self-care really are endless and can be easily tailored to taste and budget.
There are just a few ideas for something you could get for your mum this year.
However, what about you? What items do you have planned for your mum this Mother’s Day?
This is a collaborative post.

These are lovely ideas, I bought my mum a new coat she definitely needed one lol
Sometimes the best presents are the ones you need and are the most useful for sure.
I love the idea of an experience day for mums, so often we think of those for the men in our life rather than the women.
Definitely and they have some really good ones for women as well as well as men no matter what they enjoy!
Lots of beautiful ideas here, thank you for the inspiration xx
Your welcome I really hope they helped you come up with some ideas!
My mother isn’t with us now but I am looking forward to seeing my son at the weekend and we will go out for lunch on Mothers’ Day.
I hope you had a lovely time with your son over the weekend and a nice lunch.
A great ideas, I normally buy my Mum some flowers and a scented candle, she likes those.
Those are always lovely gift ideas, I do love a candle myself too.
An experience day is a good idea, as my mum is trying to have a clear out rather than acquire any more ‘stuff’. Although I might get her some craft bits 🙂
Sometimes the memories you make from them are worth so much I always think.
These are lovely ideas for gifts that are a real treat. It’s especially nice to give gifts that the recipient probably wouldn’t be able to justify buying for themselves such as a pamper day or an experience day.
Definitely I think it is always something special when perhaps you wouldn’t normally buy it yourself.
Think I might send this to my son as a ‘gentle’ hint! LOL
Haha good luck! I hope you get something lovely.
My Mum is no longer with us but it was interesting to read your ideas. My birthday is very close to Mother’s Day, in fact last year it was on Mother’s Day, so I don’t expect my daughters to go to too much expense
I hope you have a wonderful birthday – I can’t imagine how hard these sort of occasions are when you don’t have a parent around anymore.
@Priscilla Stubbs, my birthday too is often on Mother’s day – I always say they were my best ever gift 🙂
Aww Happy Birthday to come in the next couple of weeks!
You pretty much hit the nail on the head for me. Being a mum, these are exactly the things I would want. I know my mum is obsessed with coats too and a bouquet would make her day.
My Mum was trying the coat on and was like ohh cotton lining and I can take the hood off haha! Her and my Dad love walking by the canal so hopefully it will be really helpful!
Flowers are always appreciated – a new coat is already bought for my godmother
There’s nothing quite like a bouquet some times is there? We have a wonderful local florist who brings me one once a month as a subscription and they are always such value for money.
My mother in law love flowers and chocolates so soon sorted
The perfect mix perhaps! I love that you can get bundles of them as well.
