  1. I love the idea of an experience day for mums, so often we think of those for the men in our life rather than the women.

    1. Definitely and they have some really good ones for women as well as well as men no matter what they enjoy!

  2. My mother isn’t with us now but I am looking forward to seeing my son at the weekend and we will go out for lunch on Mothers’ Day.

  3. An experience day is a good idea, as my mum is trying to have a clear out rather than acquire any more ‘stuff’. Although I might get her some craft bits 🙂

  4. These are lovely ideas for gifts that are a real treat. It’s especially nice to give gifts that the recipient probably wouldn’t be able to justify buying for themselves such as a pamper day or an experience day.

    1. Definitely I think it is always something special when perhaps you wouldn’t normally buy it yourself.

  5. My Mum is no longer with us but it was interesting to read your ideas. My birthday is very close to Mother’s Day, in fact last year it was on Mother’s Day, so I don’t expect my daughters to go to too much expense

    1. I hope you have a wonderful birthday – I can’t imagine how hard these sort of occasions are when you don’t have a parent around anymore.

    2. @Priscilla Stubbs, my birthday too is often on Mother’s day – I always say they were my best ever gift 🙂

  6. You pretty much hit the nail on the head for me. Being a mum, these are exactly the things I would want. I know my mum is obsessed with coats too and a bouquet would make her day.

    1. My Mum was trying the coat on and was like ohh cotton lining and I can take the hood off haha! Her and my Dad love walking by the canal so hopefully it will be really helpful!

    1. There’s nothing quite like a bouquet some times is there? We have a wonderful local florist who brings me one once a month as a subscription and they are always such value for money.
