Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner: Review
When I came across Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner I was straight away interested in the idea behind it, a five in one cleansing conditioner it replaces your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner while being formulated without SLS as it doesn’t foam.
I’m sure the cleansing conditioner should come with the tagline ‘be ready for change’ as it is really going to change so much – from your routine, to your thinking – forget the days of using a 10p sized blob of shampoo you are going to use somewhere between 24 (above shoulder length hair) and 48 (hair down to the middle of your back or longer) pumps per use.
I have been trying The Fig Cleansing Conditioner which is aimed at dry, damaged, dehydrated, colour-treaded, chemically treated, thick, or ethnic hair; though its thick creamy, conditioning nature make it a great treatment for any hair type.
One of the things that worried me most when I first went to try this was the huge amount of pumps it told me to use but I have learnt, that for it to really work, it does need them all or it left me with the feeling of build-up and weighed down hair.
When used properly though it has made my hair soft and shiny – in fact I was amazed at how clean it felt and just how long that feeling lasted, normally after a day my hair is in need of another wash, thanks to its greasy nature, but when using Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner I found I could manage 2 / 3 days without grease rearing its ugly head.
Personally I didn’t need to add any more as a leave in conditioner but if you feel that washing it out isn’t giving you enough conditioning power, you can in fact pop a couple of extra pumps onto your hair and leave it in.
My one gripe about this product is the price coming in at £26.95 for 480ml and need 40+ pumps per use it really is going to run out quickly, meaning for me, as much as I would love to buy it all the time it just isn’t possible.

What do you think of the idea of Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner; do you think its something you would like to try?

The bottle is really nice although I think 48 pumps would be way too much for my hair
I’ve been curious about this for ages, but the like you, the price puts me off. I’m surprised your hair stays clean for longer
way too expensive for me to buy without having sampled first but looks good
I might like to try this. I wash my hair with conditioner every day anyway, but this might be an upgrade.
I love all in one products. I guess even at the price, you would have spent that anyway on a bunch of products combined. I suppose you are paying for the time saving option more or less then.
I’ve been interested in the Wen line for awhile, but the pricetag really does keep me at bay. I think I’ll give it a whirl at some point. It’s good to know that it really does work well.
i love the smell of fig so this could well worth be giving a go! 🙂 faye xx
Looks like a high quality product. I love Wen! Never been disappointed in their stuff!
This sounds like an amazing product! My hair could really use it. I love the idea of Fig conditioner!
It sounds like the perfect product for me-it is only the price I could never afford-too bad. 40 pumps for each wash? That does sound somewhat excessive.
Sounds a bit prices to me but I don’t mind paying more if I am really satisfied with the product. I love for my hair to look and feel great.
I actually tried this conditioner and it left my hair really soft. I like the idea of not exposing your hair to harsh chemicals.
I’d love to try this out – it’s all in one! Who doesn’t want that, right?
The fact that it is an 5 in one is very impressive. I have to use so many product on my hair to get the desired effect that I want. Would love to try this!
I pretty much found the perfect conditioner for my hair, so I don’t think I’m going to be switching any time soon.
I actually just received a whole kit and had the same feel. According to the instructions, I would need about 35 pumps. Who has that kind of time and money to waste on their hair. I am very happy with my shampoos and will be sticking with them.
I have heard of this product before and was always curious about it.
My hair gets so knotted up if I don’t use a good conditioner. Sounds like a good fit for me and my curls.
Looks like a great product, especially for anyone who tends to have dry or damaged hair. I would be a little concerned about the price, though. Maybe there will be sales at some point 🙂
I hate it when you find a product you love, but can’t budget it! This sounds like a good product though.
That sounds like a great project. Wen is a good brand. Worth checking out
Sounds like a perfect product for my hair. I have to wash my hair every other day and I would really love to have clean hair for 2-3 days.
I really do like Wen products. They smell amazing. But 40 pumps per use might put it in the seldom had treat category for me.
I quit using shampoo about 2 years ago and use only a conditioning routine successfully. The Wen informercial with Alyssa Milano is one that makes me want to call in every single time. But, like you, I’ve always been afraid of the cost and now that I know it uses so much at a time, I really don’t see it fitting in my budget. But thanks for the testimonial.
I have greasy “wash every day” hair so would be interested in trying this. It’s very pricey though so I think it would be a now and again treat!
I’ve heard about this hair care line. It doesn’t seem like you get many uses out of one bottle. Price seems pretty steep, but it’s worth it if it works, right?!?!
I like the sound of it, but 40 pumps per use? I couldn’t afford to stay in product that way. Too bad because it sounds nice!
I think it would be wonderful to have everything in one bottle. But I don’t think I could justify the price.
Wow, A 5-in1 cleaner? I definitely need this! I am kind of curious as to what it smells like…
We use this product and LOVE IT!!!!
I love all in one products! I think this cleansing conditioner could easily find a nice place in our bathroom. It sounds amazing.
I think the price is a bit to much for me to go and buy it my hair is really long so it would go so fast lol.but i do like the sound of it.
would love to try this, sounds amazing
This sounds like a great product. I love that everything is all in one bottle!!
