Three Gift Ideas For Someone Who Loves To Hike
AD
Have you got a friend or close one who loves to hike and is going on a Camino de Santiago this year? Or maybe they are doing some local walks as a way to get active and be healthy?
Either way, if it’s their birthday approaching or you want to treat them to something to show them you care, a hiking gift may be just the thing for them.

There are so many cool and wonderful gifts that you can get for someone who likes to go for walking holidays or long walks. You can treat them to an insulated water bottle as this will keep their water cold, when out on their adventures.
You could buy them a voucher for their favourite hiking brand, or you can go down the route of a new pair of hiking socks or hiking jacket – the possibilities are endless.
To help give you some inspiration, we have put together three gift ideas.
Insulated Water Bottle
Does the person you are buying for own an insulated water bottle? Insulated water bottles are ideal for hiking as they keep your drink cold for up to 24 hours or warm for up to 12 hours.
Depending on the brand, they can be very affordable and personalised and in a lot of cases come in different colours. You can buy them in a range of sizes from 250ml to over 2 litres.

Gift Voucher
If you are unsure of what items to buy, a gift voucher may be a good route to go down. Subtly found out where they like to buy their hiking gear from and purchase a gift voucher from there.
By gifting a gift voucher, they can then choose something that they need, instead of you buying something they may not require. You can buy a gift voucher and put as much as your budget can stretch on it.

Backpack
Anybody who goes hiking will require a backpack! It’s an essential piece of equipment as it will hold all your gear for your trip away. Find out if the person you are buying for has had their backpack for a long time. If they’ve had it for years, this could be the chance for you to buy them a new one as a treat.
When buying a backpack, try to keep the design similar to the one they currently have and give them a gift receipt, just in case it’s not the right one for them. Most sites will have customer reviews which you can read, to check real-life opinions on the backpack you are considering.
There are so many different types of gifts that you can buy, we hope the above list has given you some inspiration. Are you planning on buying a gift for someone who loves hiking and if so, what gift are you planning on buying? Are there any gift ideas that you think we should add to our guide above?
