Review: Love Me Beauty July
Hands up I am a fan of beauty boxes so when Em from Em’s Mixed Bag, suggested writing a post about one of her favourite monthly boxes, I thought it would be interesting to see what another blogger thought about it. So here’s Em, talking about Love Me Beauty:
Last month I had double points to spend with Love Me Beauty and I was so, so impressed with my selections (you can read my post about it HERE). This month I didn’t have double points to spend but I was equally as happy with what I had selected.
If you haven’t read any of my previous posts about Love Me Beauty here is a quick explanation of what it is…..
“Not heard of Love Me Beauty before? Well, unlike the traditional subscription boxes where you receive a selection of products, Love Me Beauty allows YOU to select what products you want from a selection of hand picked products called The Edit.
This month my selections came in yet another cute makeup bag. I actually really like collecting lots of different makeup bags rather than stacking the usual beauty subscription boxes under my dressing table, will I feel the same when I have 10 of them, I’m not so sure! Anyway…..

The monthly price I pay is £13.95, which includes postage, but you can choose cheaper options if you’re happy to sign up for 3 or 6 months, I prefer to do it on a monthly basis though. For that price I get to spend 60 points from ‘The Edit’ and each product is valued at xxx amount of credits.
- Caudalie Concentrate Brightening Essence 50ml – 15 Credits (Sample RRP £10.00)
- Caudalie Divine Oil 15ml – 15 Credits (Sample RRP £5.40)
- Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment 59ml – 25 Credits (Sample RRP £18.00)
- Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads – 5 Credits (Sample RRP approx £1.10)
The reason I love this selection so much is because brands such as Caudalie and Perricone MD are super expensive, so I get to give the products a really good trial run before taking the plunge and purchasing the full-size product, you won’t find any sample sachets here. The samples above RRP for approximately £34.50!
Love Me Beauty did have different products to choose from this month such as EcoTools and Nails Inc but I do hope they do mix it up a little bit next month as EcoTools, Caudalie and Perricone have been seen for the past 3 months, but I am not complaining as I love the brands.

I have never heard of Love Me Beauty Subscription Boxes before, Ha! I thought I had tried them all. I like that you can pick your products, this way you are getting what you really want/need that month.
These all look great. I’d like to try that blue plasma cleansing product and the cleansing pads.
I love the little nip+fab wipes! Those have to be perfect for on the go!

These are all are sounds good to me and I really want to try the Divine it’s really Intriguing for me.

I’ve seen quote a few sub boxes making their choose your own option available now, I have to admit whilst its a great perk I also like a bit of a surprise! I love the pieces that were included in this box though!!
I think this is the best beauty box I have ever came across. The rest are just rubbish and old, warehouse products. I love Caudalie products. Thanks for introducing it

I love the cleansing pads but that make up bag really caught my attention and I love the print! So cool and girly.
I’ve never tried subscribing to any beauty boxes, but this sure sounds like a must-try brand. And that makeup bag is cute indeed!
Love the fact that you can chose your own items. And some really nice items to pick from too. Love the nail varnishes

I’ve had love beauty before and while I loved the idea of it and it’s such good value I did feel a lot of the brands were repeated x
I’ve never tried the box but I had a few bottles of Divine Oil already, really good for my dry hairs, especially during summer months 🙂

I was just saying how I wish I had brought more toiletry products with me. We’re in Belize for six months and it’s so hot and humid here my face always feels yucky no matter how many times a day I wash it. I would love to have these products right now!
How cool is it that they let you pick which products to try! It seems rare indeed. I’d especially love to try the Concentrate Brightening Essence. My skin could sure use a little extra TLC this summer. x
I like this assortment of products, they all look good. I haven’t tried any of those, and I think I would most want to try the cleansing pads. Summer has been so hot and humid and sweaty, it would be nice to scrub clean.

I think that the love beauty box is such good value for money especially since it gives you expensive beauty products for a fraction of the price x

I think this is a great idea. It looks like you get to sample some lovely products and it’s good to get a feel for them before you go and purchase a full size product.

I currently get this subscription package and I absolutely love it. The added bags are great for storing items as well and the contents are great. A super way to try multiple items without having to buy the full sized product 🙂 x
I have not heard of this subscription box before, it does sound like the ideal box as you can choose what you receive which is a great way of trying new products and it is certainly worth the money. I am going to pop over and have a look as have been wanting to try a new subscription box for a while x

Finally a box that you get to choose the products you want to try. That is why I never got into the subscription boxes. This one sounds perfect.
I skipped this months box – I did however get my hands on the Perricone MD blue plasma last month, as well as the Caudalie Essence, still haven’t used either yet as I’ve been trying to finish up other bits, but they’re next to be opened!
It looks like there was a lot of good stuff in there. I love what you got. Sounds like an awesome box of goodies.
