Perfume Click – Review

A few weeks ago I was offered a voucher so that I could try out the Perfume Click website and see what I thought of it. Of course I got to order some perfume too!

All of their perfumes come in original factory packaging and are 100% genuine so you don’t need to worry about accidentally buying fakes. No knock-offs here! Perfume and cologne gift sets are also available to buy on the website and so it’s a great place to pick up gifts for your loved ones. One to bookmark for Christmas!

The Perfume Click website is simple and easy to look through. There are drop down menus which give you quick access to the most popular brands that they stock. The one thing I would love to see though is the ability to just sit and have a look through all of the fragrances. Almost like being in a shop! It’s possible that you can do that in the other sections but the perfume/aftershave one is viewable only in order of popularity or by the name of the brand. It’s not a huge issue, I’m just a nosey parker who likes window shopping a lot. I think it’s only a problem when you don’t have a favourite perfume brand or no idea what you fancy and you need some inspiration. Otherwise the site really is very user friendly and easy to navigate around.

There is also a great loyalty scheme available. Each purchase you make from the website earns you points. You can collect one point per pound spent and the points can then be redeemed against future purchases, saving your pennies. One point is equal to 1p so to get £5 off you would need to collect 500 points. Payment is super easy too. You can pay via Google checkout, PayPal and, of course, by credit or debit card.

It took me a while to decide what I should buy with my voucher because there was so many fragrances to choose from. In the end I went with cute packaging over the scent. I fell in love with how cute Katy Perry’s Purr looks and so I treated myself to this. After all, it’s nice to have a good looking perfume bottle sitting on your dressing table!

Katy Perry – Purr

I have to say I didn’t really expect much from this perfume, especially as I’d never smelt the scent before. I thought it would just sit on my dressing table looking cute but I’ve come to really like it. It has a sweet fruity scent which has a moderate staying power. For me it works well as an everyday fragrance for work or shopping as it’s really well priced. Getting through it quickly by using it a lot wouldn’t be too much of a problem, not like with some of the more expensive brands.
