LOVELOX Tree of Life Locket – Review
I love jewellery, I think it is something that you can use to show off your personality or it can hold special meaning to you. Today I have a piece that can do both.
Recently I was contacted by an up and coming new company who specialise in lockets. However, don’t be fooled, this is a company steeped in history.
LOVELOX.
With over 100 years of experience in the jewellery industry. LOVELOX has its founding feet in Birmingham’s jewellery quarter.
More recently in their history, they launched a brand I have featured on my blog before, Engravers Guild. It is also a family-run company, with the original company being started by Thomas Bishton and more recently, Engravers Guild being founded by Elliot Bishton and LOVELOX by James Bishton.
All of the items in the range are hand-engraved and assembled right here in the UK. The factory they use to help produce their products is also a Fairmined licensee and treats their workers fairly when it comes to pay and benefits.
LOVELOX kindly sent me one of their many beautiful lockets to review.
Tree of Life Locket – Silver.
I was lucky enough to be sent the Tree of Life locket in silver. As with all the lockets in the LOVELOX range, it is available in a choice of materials with gold and rose gold also being on offer.
Other lockets available include hearts, ovals and circle-shaped, which are plain or engraved, while some even include diamond. Each of the lockets can also be engraved on the back, allowing you to add on a special message or date.
Inside of the lockets, there is room for two pictures. This is the part that worried me most, getting a picture the right size to fit would be hard right? In fact, you don’t need to worry as all you need to do is upload the images to the LOVELOX website and they will make sure they are placed in the locket for you.
The software on the LOVELOX website is really simple to use and allows you to play with using different pictures until you are completely happy with the fit.
The chain your locket comes on is adjustable between 16″ and 18″, while a longer length can be bought if required.
So what images did I include in my locket? Well, I’m sure it isn’t a surprise to many, that mine includes Sally.
Overall Thoughts.
Personally, I found the whole process to be simple. The website offered step by step instructions for adjusting any images you wanted to use within in locket, with previews offered for both the images and any engraving, you would like.
The locket comes presented in a gift box, with LOVELOX logo and really is something special to receive.
