Lee Stafford Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray Review
![]()
A few years back I wouldn’t go out without using a sea salt spray on my hair, but a very wet winter just put pay to it and I never replenished my supply, so when I was asked what I wanted to try from the Lee Stafford range it had to be the Beach Babe – Sea Salt Spray.

My hair is overly flyaway, it likes to do anything but what I want it to. I found in the past sea salt spray was a quick and easy way to make it look good, helping define my waves instead of leaving them to disappear off into their own world, or look somewhat like I have a bush on my head.
“Lee Stafford’s Sea Salt spray contains a ProMineral™ complex of Dead Sea salts, a total of 26 different minerals and sunflower extract to help your hair feel soft to the touch, adding bounce, definition and body, adding moisture and shine, while protecting from free radicals.”
You can use it on wet towel dried hair or on completely dry hair, the bottle says to add approximately 50 sprays to your hair, I found nearer 30 was just right for me, so you just need to play around to find what suits you.
I can’t for the life of me describe what this spray smells like, I was having a nose around for others ideas on it and I could only find one mentioning hemp with sunflower undertones, but that doesn’t describe it for me, the scent is quite strong but in all honesty I found it pleasant, and even after a day of heat and food shopping I still find it wafts pleasantly around me as I move.
So what was the outcome on me it makes my hair look like this:

To me it felt my waves were more defined, there’s still that slight frizz, but it’s a lot more toned down than normal and I wouldn’t feel like I needed a hat on my head like normal so it gets a thumbs up from me.
I have to admit I like to use it more on the in between wash day on dry hair, than on freshly washed.
You can grab yourself a spray from Boots online or in store for £7.49
Have you tried this sea salt spray, what do you think of it?

I had not even heard of seasalt spray, but will have a look the next time I am in Boots!
I absolutely love Lee Stafford products but I have never tried this before! It sounds really great I might have to pop some in my basket on my next shopping trip! 🙂
I used Not Your Mother’s and it made my hair dry and itchy
Oh no that’s such a shame 🙁
My hair is really fine and fly away. I have heard that sea salt products in your hair are meant to thicken it. Thats why i use scenic as it has sea salt in it and it does make a difference.. Does this do the same or is it just for fly away hair?
Yeah it will give it a thickened effect, you know when your by the sea and your hair just goes crazy gets all that volume and waves? This spray does that to it.
The KMS one is still my favourite that is brilliant. x
