JASON Vitamin E Oil 5000 IU: Review
Oils were something that I always stayed away from in the past due to the fact that I was worried that my already oily skin would be made worse by adding more oil to it. I was worried that this would happen no matter how nourishing the oil claimed to be.
I also assumed that it would trap moisture, rather than help to hydrate the dry patches I do have around my knees and elbows. Because of this, I could end up with some very sore patches at times.
When I was offered the chance to try JASON Vitamin E Oil 5000 IU, I thought hey why not? After all, it would be a good chance to put those preconceived ideas to the test and see if it actually could make a difference.
JASON Vitamin E Oil 5000 IU.

JASON Vitamin E Oil 5000 IU contains the 5 natural essential oils of: Sweet Almond, Apricot, Avocado, Sunflower and Wheat Germ.
It aims to renew skin’s softness and can be used all over the body, including on the face and hands. It is also suggested that you could use it as a target oil on dry areas. As well as this, it will mix into your favourite JASON hand or body cream for an extra hydrating push.
It contains no parabens, artificial colours or synthetic fragrances and so it’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
I decided to put this to the test on the driest part of my body – my elbows. I immediately assumed that within days I would be suffering from sore elbows that were dry and flaky. Oh, how sceptical I am.
What I Thought of This Moisturising Oil.
The first thing to greet you when you open this oil is the scent. It offers a rich almond smell and I have to say I like it so much more than I thought I would.
Once you are finished taking in the delightful aroma it is time to get applying it to your skin.
The oil is quickly absorbed into the skin and thankfully it doesn’t leave any sticky residue. In fact, I ended up using the oil across all of my arms and found that even come morning my skin was still feeling the hydrating effects of the oil.
As for my elbows, well even after almost a month of using this alone they are feeling smooth and pain-free.
What’s more, if you suffer from stretch marks or scarring this oil may well be worth trying on the affected areas. After all, vitamin e oil promotes healing and can be a great help at reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
Yet again I have been left surprised by just how good oil is for my skin and I will most definitely be buying this for myself once my current bottle has run out.
If you want to give JASON Vitamin E Oil a try, it can be bought from Amazon for £9.99.

I purchased Jason all over body oil at TJMAXX. Love this oil.
The beautiful soft sweet fragrance greeted ne first. Then the velvet smooth finish this oil formed on my skin was amazing. Would definitely recommend this product. And will repurchase.
I’m using a cream oil and that keeps my skin feeling like I’ve just applied it all day! Might have to give this one a go.
As a cheaper/more affordable version of the Nuxe oil I have been hankering after but can’t afford atm, this is something I plan to try instead! 🙂
Thanks for the review! I’m always a little skeptical of the claims that some of these products make.
I love almond oil I use it a lot, it’s so good for dry skin. I will keep an eye out for this one, thanks.
I am going to try this as I am trying to do things the natural way. Thank you for sharing this with us. I will look into this
With this winter I have so much trouble with dry skin. I will definitely try this.
I have dry ankles and dry elbows, I’m going to look for this oil!
Never thought to use Vitamin E oil but have heard lots of good things about it.
I’ve not heard of this brand before, but I think i’m interested! I could use some more nourishment for my skin.
I remember when I was little if you wanted vitamin E you had to break open capsules. This is much easier.
I need to get some good vitamin E oil for my son. He’s been having major issues with chapped skin this winter. I’ll check this out!
It is odd how adding oil would help reduce your oily skin issues. I heard that long ago and I’ve tested it and found it true. This looks like a good oil to try.
Funny timing, Im writing a post on Vitamin E and benefits. lol. I havent heard of this brand but it looks like one to try.
Sounds like a winner. This would be something I would use on my heels daily.
Great review – I might get myself some to try on stretchmarks … 🙂
Sounds like a great product. I would love to try it too.
I haven’t used this particular brand but Vitamin E oils have been very kind to me in the past. I once had a huge steam burn scar on my forearm and started using the oil everyday and now it’s not even visible to anyone else. I can only see the faintest outline of where it had been, but everyone else says they don’t see a thing! Amazing stuff. I’d like to try this brand if I ever need it again, since you said it isn’t sticky. The one I used left so much annoying residue, but was still worth it.
Been using Vitamin E on my cuticles this awful cold winter and it’s done wonders for my dry, cracked hands and nails.
I can’t believe I never thought of using it on my cuticles, thanks for the great tip!
I wonder if this would work for my eczema. Sounds awesome!
I haven’t tried this one but just the fact it’s Vit E – then I know it’s definitely a must try for many many things. 🙂
I have heard such good things about Vit E for skin! I need to try it and see if I feel a difference!
I love Vit. E! It’s so important to use. I make homemade items such as lip balm with it too
Great product for this harsh winter. My skin would be so happy with some of that oil lol
I was always afraid of using oil for the same reasons, I finally started a few years ago and love them. I just moved and do not have any because they could not be transported, I will check this one out so I can build my supply back up.
I haven’t tried Vitamin E for stretch marks but the doctor recommended it for reducing scars. The ingredients make it sound good enough to eat. LOL
I actually have never heard of this. I love oils though and this is something I’d use.
I would definitely give it a try. I love the fact that it does not leave a sticky residue.
I would love to try JASON Vitamin E Oil, my skin is so dry!
I LOVE vitamin oils! They always make my skin feel so amazing! Vitamin E oil is such an important compound for having great looking skin.
Love this stuff!!
Vitamin E is one of those things I keep hearing about but have never tried. I really should. Especially since having four kids has left me with a few more stretch marks than I would like
I have really dry skin on my hands and heels. This sounds like a product I need for sure. I’ve heard good things about Vitamin E oil.
great review on this product. I would love to give it a try
That’s really interesting. My poor boyfriend has terribly oily skin and has tried everything to feel less oily… I wonder if this could be a proper temporary solution? I’ve used similar things myself for stretch marks and they did actually help a lot with the coloring.
Excellent review. I have also heard a lot of great things about using vitamin e oil. However, I didn’t realize that it came in a bottle! I always thought it just came in capsules that had to be broken open.
I have heard so many good things about using vitamin e oil. I will have to give it a try one of these days.
Great review, I love to try this product out myself.
