Gallinée Face Vinegar & Foaming Cleanser: Review
With the weather changing it can be a good time to think about upping your skincare routine. After all cold weather, central heating and all that comes with winter can dry out our skin even more.
That doesn’t have to just apply to moisturisers either. If you are looking for a new cleanser and toner routine then have I have a review of the cult beauty brand Gallinée. A brand who are perhaps most well known for their face vinegar.
Gallinée Skin Care.
Gallinée takes a different look at skincare, they believe your body is like a planet. A planet made up of 1000s of good bacteria which help look after you. In fact, they make up a layer called the microbiome.
While the microbiome is made up of bacteria, it is bacteria that is helping you. As such we strip that away with or skincare we can end up with inflamed and sensitive skin.
With that in mind, Gallinée makes products which work with the microbiome. Including a patented complex of prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics, which helps to nourish and support the good bacteria. Instead of washing it anyway.
With that in mind here are two of their products to help you care for that good bacteria on your face.
Gallinée Foaming Face Cleanser.
I often worry about trying new cleansers, I’ve found many in my past have been too harsh for my skin. Leaving it feeling dry and out of sorts.
However, mixing the fact this helps support your good bacteria and is suitable for even sensitive skin, I was interested to give it a try.
This is a foaming cleanser, which is easily dispensed via the pump. I found one pump was more than enough to clean my face and neck.
I’ve always liked foam products, for some reason they just always appeal to me. So I wasn’t surprised to find I loved the format of this product. However, I also liked how it worked. I found that it left my skin feeling cleansed, refreshed and even dare I say it softer, without it being left feeling tight or overworked.
This cleanser has a PH of 5 and contains 92% natural origin ingredients. Their products are also cruelty-free and vegan.
It is worth noting there is Lactic acid in many of Gallinée, including this cleanser, so do be careful around your eyes when using.
Personally, I was really impressed with this cleanser and it is one I would buy again due to how well it worked with my sensitive skin.
What’s more, it doesn’t cost a fortune with the Gallinée Foaming Face Cleanser coming in at £15 a bottle.
Gallinée Face Vinegar.
If you have only heard of one Gallinée product it is likely to be their Face Vinegar. After all, it has quickly become a cult must-have product.
This face vinegar contains hibiscus-infused Apple Cider Vinegar and has 96% natural origin ingredients. As such it is oil-free, perfume-free and just packed with happy bacteria helping ingredients, which are going to help refresh and rebalance.
It can be used twice a day after cleansing, helping to reduce redness, refine pores and exfoliate oily skin.
Personally, for many years I’ve not bothered with any kind of toner, this is something I’ve tried to change this year alongside getting into a better routine all around.
This face vinegar has really shown me what I have been missing since I began to use it and upped my skincare routine my skin has become so much better.
Personally, I can definitely agree this vinegar helps calm the skin. I have found after a few days use redness starts to decrease and my skin doesn’t feel so inflamed and irritated. While I am sure my skin looks brighter and better cared for.
Once again the Gallinée Face Vinegar has a really good price tag on it. Starting at just £7 and going up to £23 depending on the size bought.
Final Thoughts.
I am really impressed with both of these products. I feel like both of them are working to help and soothe my skin from the world around me.
They don’t need any special usage instructions, meaning they are simple to slot into any skincare routine. While the price for how good they are in my view is really reasonable.
Will I be buying these for myself? I can only say the answer is yes.

Oh this concept is very interesting but it makes so much sense. We do need good bacteria in our bodies so why not externally as well. Very keen to try the face vinegar as my face can get quite oily and raw. Most of the cleaning products I use is probably too harsh on my skin

This sounds really good. My skin is terrible at the moment because of the central heating and because of my age i think. I am always looking for new products to try on my face.

If you get a chance go for it they have such an amazing range and I love the cleanser.
The face vinegar sounds really interesting, I might give a small bottle a go as it seems good value for money. I love foam face washes too, I think it just feels so soft and luxurious on your skin.
It is worth trying it has really calmed my face and you can always start small and buy bigger if you come to find it works for you.

Honestly give it a try – I was really impressed, I’ve got some old toner to go through (as I can’t just throw it out got to be more eco-friendly and use what I have) then I’m going to rebuy this one.

I used to use cleansing wipes but recently started to use a cleanser and toner again and it seems to make a difference to your skin as you feel like you have done a thorough job. These products sound good x
