Fifona Designs: Review
Can you guess who it is?
It is of course the Sally monster looking amazingly wonderful, in this shadow silhouette, made by Fifona Designs, a wonderful Etsy seller who, while originally from England, now lives in Spain, her crafting talents include jewellery, cushions, artwork made of resin and these beautiful new to the range pet silhouettes.
Fifona takes a picture of your believed pet to create these 3D side shot silhouettes that can beautifully capture your pet in such a different way.
The silhouette is created onto card, of which you get a choice of colour and style – meaning you can perfectly match it to your décor. I shall admit now before I go any further I was expecting it to be made with 3D pads and card stock but oh no no I was so wrong!
As you can see above the card sits onto a perfectly shaped plastic form, meaning your pet isn’t going to dip or bend in anyway so you can confidently place it on display however and where ever you wish.
Each creation is mounted onto a subtly textured 4″x4″ (10cmx10cm) cream card meaning up to two animals can be featured on each one.
Honestly I wish I could show you just how wonderful these images are in person, they are so beautifully done, with such amazing attention to detail, that you can’t help but know who the image is portraying.
Fifona has already worked on many animals from the common cats and dogs to rabbits and bird to name a few – so please don’t think she needs a pet that looks a certain way – she really so flexible and is completely dedicated to making the image just as you want, she kept in contact with me all through the process of putting Sally together and it was a pleasure to work her.
As soon as it arrived I had to order it a frame and it now sits in pride of place on my wall. Perfect.
