Daxon – Ellos Draping Effect Cardigan: Review

Daxon is a store I first spoke about probably at this time last year so it’s really nice to be featuring them once again as the festive season closes in on us, I have to admit when I first looked into Daxon I wasn’t sure if it was a store I could so myself using, but like a book sometimes you shouldn’t judge a shop on first glance as Daxon stocks a wide range of clothing, accessories, shoes and even home ware that can see you through the years. So while the front page might be scrolling through something that seems either beyond or behind you peel back those pages you and you might just find something that will suit you right at this moment in time.

After nosing around Daxon for a while my latest find with the lovely Ellos Draping Effect Cardigan which while I got in black, I thought it was a lot easier to see the details of it in the other colour it is available this lovely dark pink.

This is an item that looks 100 times better on, than when it is hanging up on a hanger – I totally admit when I first got it out of the bag it arrived in I had an uh oh why did I choose this moment, which was thankfully soon followed by an ahh that would be why when I put it on.

This cardigan is made with a fine knit and of 40% cotton, 35% viscose, 15% polyamide, 10% wool giving it a lovely soft feeling, it’s is gently fitted around the arms and shoulders while the front gives way to the lovely draping effect. Two small pockets feature on each side allowing room for a tissue or two perhaps. It is a very light weight cardi so brilliant for someone like me who often over heats, or one to be used in more Autumn or Spring time if you feel the cold more.

For me this beauty will definitely become a staple in my wardrobe and I can see it being something that will see, at least me, all year round being dressed up or down.
