Dance Where You Want With Dali Katch
Music is something that can stir so many emotions, it can make you want to get up and dance or it can make you want to curl up and cry. It is something that everyone has a different view on and many people like different types. Personally, I like an array of different genres, at the moment however, I am listening to a lot of All Time Low, Sum 41 and Bring Me the Horizon to name just a few.
I have to admit since the move to digital music, I listen to less music than ever before, with most of my listening happening at night as I go to sleep, or in the car. Perhaps mainly as I have never found a good speaker to help bring the music to life as fully as possible. That all changed though when I was introduced to the Dali Katch.
This beauty of a speaker is made by the Danish company Dali and is just hitting the shelves of the UK. It makes use of a mains rechargeable battery, which offers a battery life of up to 24 hours and takes only 2 hours to fully recharge. The main outer shell is hard and durable, while featuring a leather strap, perfect for carrying the Katch to whichever location you wish to listen from.
To link up your music is simple, I’ve previously found it very tricky to link my iPod to different speakers, but this one is almost automatic, with it being picked up very quickly and just needing the touch of a button to pair the two.
The speaker offers two sound profiles, clear and warm. Clear is perfect for your everyday easy listening, while warm offers a bit more base and is great for use in larger spaces.
I have to say that using the Dali Katch wireless speaker has brought a new world of music back into my life. After all not only does it have the best sound I have ever heard from a wireless speaker making it perfect for indoor use, it of course also offers an easy to transport design, making it the perfect accessory for taking away on holiday, or for a picnic in the park or at the beach.
However, perhaps most useful of all is the fact I can use it while I work – setting it up next to my work station means I have that background noise I personally need to work well, without having a show on that can easily distract me from the work I should be doing.
The Dali Katch is available to buy now, costs £329 and comes in a choice of 3 colours; cloud grey, moss green and dark shadow.
What do you think of the sound of the Dali Katch, would you like to have one in your home?

What a great looking speaker! I’d love to try this out. I love the fun color!
It is absolutely amazing they have definitely put a lot of thought into it.
This is a pretty cool device! I would love one in my home.
looks like an awesome portable speaker. quality made too. I’m a headphones enthusiast myself but yeah speakers would be great too.
I am a music lover and I must say that I badly needed this. My son loves to dance too whenever he feels like dancing so I should buy him this too.
at first, i thought this would be small and very compact, like a personal speaker till i saw the next photo! love how this has a leather handle. it definitely makes things a lot easier
It is great isn’t it – such a nice touch to help with portability.
Oh I love this!! Its so stylish as well as having a little bit of a vintage feel to it! I think my husband would love a gift like this for Christmas! He is such a music lover being a musician himself!
It is a beauty – I had it on the side in the hall over the weekend and everyone who came in asked about it lol.
I find I don’t listen to music half as much as I’d like to – but would love this in my home x
This is such a great gift idea for music lovers!
My husband uses a very small portable speaker at his work station. I think he would really benefit from having the dali katch. It looks like a great product!
It is honestly amazing the sound it produces is wonderful. So much better than other similar products I have tried.
I have something similar and like you I love background noise instead of a show that might distract me then I wouldn’t work
We just moved and something like this would be perfect for music in our new house! I love the look of it too!
Wow! I love it and I need one of those in my life.
I love the sound of this speaker. Would love to own it.
Brilliant post and fabulous timing, I really need one of these, thanks for that Sarah, i will look into this as it sounds great 😉
Looks like such a good speaker but I don’t think I could justify that much on something. Maybe one day x
It’s definitely something you would receive or send as a gift based on the price but still a lovely sleek bit of kit! x
I love the sound of this but it is very expensive! X
The Dali Katch sounds like a great speaker and I would love to have one. It would be great to listen to music instead of have a show on like you said while working. The tv can really be a big distraction. Thanks for sharing this awesome speaker and I love it charges in two hours with a batter life of 24 hours.
Wow – this looks super awesome! My 1 year old is such a dancer, I think this would make a great gift for his bedroom!
I need one! I love to dance around with my kids.
I’d love to have this speaker. Music relaxes and inspires me throughout the day. I’ll have to check it out. Love the sturdy case and the leather carrying strap!
Now this is something I could use. I’d use it outdoors when we’re grilling out or swimming and I’m sure the kids would find a million places to use it at as well.
This is so nice, I’m always listening to music so would be a great investment.
I love the look of that. The colour and style are absolutely lovely. I have a digital radio but sadly it doesn’t pick up a great signal, which is a shame. I’d love to try this one out.

What a cracking little speaker. We are planning to buy music players for the kids this Christmas but I think that might be a little too expensive for us!
