Cadbury Egg ‘n’ Spoon
Maybe you can all help me with this Cadbury Egg ‘n’ Spoon is marked as a new product but I’m sure I remember something similar from my teens? I’m sure I went looking for them in years after and they never seemed to be available but then I could have just dreamt it I do have those moments after all.
Anyway enough of that – the lovely people at Cadbury sent us a pack of Egg ‘n’ Spoon to give it a try whether it be for the first time or not. Egg ‘n’ Spoon comes in a purple egg box which holds inside it 4 chocolate eggs wrapped in a two toned brown foil set alongside 2 purple spoons (so cute!). I was sent the milk chocolate outer with chocolate mousse inside but there is also a milky white mousse variety as well. I have to say I’m not sure of the best way to eat these, the mousse hardens if left in the fridge while if not the outer chocolate shell can become quite fragile in your hands as you try and scoop out the mousse it does however taste nice both ways so it is really down to personal choice if you have refrigerated your egg or not.
To eat:
Unwrapped the top and bite it off, then grab your spoon and start scooping the mousse, before finishing off the outer shell.
The only thing I can’t work out is why is there only 2 spoons – if you brought this pack to share between say 4 children you would be stuck in a bit of scrabble over who gets to eat theirs first, as I think a normal teaspoon might just be a bit on the large side.
I shall definitely be hoping the Easter Bunny hops this way with some of these for me.
Have you tried Cadbury Egg ‘n’ Spoon, what do you think of them?

I hope this comes out again this year although I think it’s a lot smaller now that it was back when when you posted about it. So delicious.
Never seen these, but I always bite an end of and lick out the insides
This is so funny, this came up as a recommended post for me 😂 me and my daughter were just talking about these last night! We haven’t seen these in the shops at all this year. Just the Oreo version and we both hate Oreo. Such a shame because they were our favourite Easter treat!
They look good – after all it is chocolate. I wonder what kind of chemicals are involved for preservation.
The ingredients are:
INGREDIENTS
Milk chocolate (Milk, Sugar, Cocoa butter, Cocoa mass, Vegetable fats, Emulsifiers (E442, E476), Flavourings), Filling (50%) (Sugar, Vegetable fats, Fat-reduced cocoa, Milk, Dried whey, Cocoa butter, Emulsifiers (Soya lecithin, E475, E442, E476), Cocoa mass, Flavourings).
Hope that helps a little 🙂
These look so yummy. I’ve heard so many people talk about them that I really think I’ll have to try them myself x
Oh yes you should definitely try them – your have to let me know what you think 🙂 x
How decadent is this? Not quite sure that I love that the spoon is plastic, but, once in a while….I can see our whole family, each with a 4-pack, sitting around the table after dinner and piggin’ out, silently!
We found that if you have the very tiny spoons they will work 😉 xx
Hey, they’re really cute. But that’s just a sinful treat. Maybe I will.. Hmmm just a little.
Haha just don’t do what I do and eat too many 😉 x
I need to go find these for Easter baskets! They look so yummy 🙂
I hope you manage to find them – I really want to try the Milky ones 🙂 x
Well what will they think of next? While I am not a Cadbury Egg fan my daughter LOVES them. Guess she’ll be getting one of these for Easter!
I love a good Cadburys chocolate bar – do love my Thorntons and Hotel Chocolat as well though lol x
Wow…I’ve never seen anything like this before. They look yummy!
They really are – will have to get my hands on some more 😉 x
