Aldi Dog Treats For Your Four Legged Friend
Sally is back with another review. This time she has been asked by Aldi to try out their range of dog treats and, of course, Sally never fails to jump to the challenge where dog food is involved. She was thrilled to get this package and oddly, as with all the parcels that come for her, she was quick to sniff it out and claim it as her own.
We were sent four different packets of Aldi dog treats:
Beef Patties
Pigs Ears
Sausages
Pork Strips
I think the look on her face as she waits for her treat says it all. Sally does love a good treat and her very favourite of all has to be a nice pigs ear. Well at least she seems to think they are nice – I’m really not convinced by it.
Earl’s treats
Earl’s treats are part of the pet food range available at Aldi. They come in five different flavours, those previously mentioned and beef silvers. Each flavour is all natural, with all but the patties including no additives or preservatives.
All of the four packs we received make for the ideal treat and are great for rewarding your pooch when they have been good. All of them have a high meat content and are oven roasted. When they are used in moderation they can of course be a healthy addition to your dog’s diet.
What’s more, the chewier of the treats are great for your dog’s teeth as the motion of chewing helps clean them, which in turn help promote healthy gums. I wish sweets did that for humans!
How to eat Aldi dog treats safely
When it come to some of these treats (namely those pigs ears again) Sal likes to try and swallow a whole one all in one go and as such we do closely supervise her when she is having one, so this is something I would highly recommend until you know how your dog deals with each treat.

I used to be able to buy chicken strips from Aldi in this range, but haven’t found them for some time. Charlie dog loves all types but chicken def best

We have a new Aldi being built behind my house so I will have to pop and get my Floppy dog some of these. My dog loves the rawhide long bones.
Your dog looks really happy which is always a good sign. Also is one of my treat shops as we don’t have one that near to us
these treats sound very tasty I will have to buy some for my little Alfie he is very fussy so if he eats them theres hope for all
Our dog loves pig ears as well – he’s got one buried in the garden though that he has not eaten fully and keeps digging back up and carrying around then giving to us – by which I mean walking up and depositing on your knee when you are watching TV lol. Vile its all muddy and slippy haha

I have to be really careful with Hendrix as he has been found to have a wheat allergy (typical, he certainly is my dog!) So providing the ingredients were clear and wheat free I would definitely check them out!
We have an aldi coming soon. Wonder if they’ll do treats for our kitten?!
I always get our dog’s dry food and treats from discounters, why pay silly prices when you can get the same for less, and he certainly doesn’t complain! (It’s food, why would he???)
My Sister buys all her cat food from Aldi and says its just as good as the big brands!xx

We have bought cat food for our cat (obvs) from Aldi, but she’s a fussy miss and didn’t like it at all – a shame as it would have saved us a few quid each week!
