Autumn is officially here, and the weather has definitely taken a turn. I’m now sitting under blankets with a hot water bottle, rather than wondering if turning on the aircon is a possibility.
To kick off the season with some fun items, I’ve joined up with some great brands to showcase some cosy night in essentials alongside fun and whimsical items to keep warm or make you smile this autumn.
The Bedsure Gentlesoft® Blanket

While I have lots of small blankets all over the place, for some reason, I’ve never had a king-size one on the bed and as the weather seems to quickly change these days, there seems to be a time where it’s not quite cold enough for a duvet, yet just a sheet isn’t enough and this blanket has been perfect for that, as I’m sure it will be when the weather gets even colder and we need something more than a duvet.
Bedsure offer a range of sizes in their blankets, as well as colours, but I really liked the lined design of this one and went for Ashley Blue in colour, and it is really nice. Very soft, yet lightweight for the size and fits our king-size bed perfectly.
The Fleece Blanket from Bedsure can be bought from Amazon, where prices start at £15.99 for a single.
Blade & Rose – Paddington Out and About Hoodie

Honestly, how cute is this? This is for a friend’s little one, and apparently she loves it (I got sent some very cute photos of her trying it on and then refusing to take it off). Coming from Blade & Rose, which is a leading children’s wear brand set up in 2010. One of the things I loved about them is that they are as ethical, sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. They even have a pre-loved marketplace where you can resell your Blade & Rose items once your child has outgrown them!

The Paddington Out and About hoodie is part of a wider range of Paddington items and features this much-loved bear on the back and front of the hoodie, and even has little ears on the hood! Offered in a wide range of sizes, starting at 0 – 6 months and going up to 5 – 6 years, it is beautifully complemented by a pair of leggings, top, socks and booties that match.
The Paddington Out and About Hoddie comes in at £28!
Disney Crystal Art

If you follow me on TikTok, you might have seen me unbox these as well as the Stitch. They are from the Craft Buddy Crystal Art range, which not only includes Disney but a whole host of fun items, including animals, flowers, gnomes, landscapes and other much-loved series such as Harry Potter and Peter Rabbit.
My hands aren’t the best these days, but I have found that if I take it slowly, I can manage small Crystal Art pieces like the pins, stickers and standies, which take around 10 – 15 minutes to complete and don’t cramp my hands too much. I personally think they are a lovely way to spend an autumn evening, and they don’t cost much either!
If you fancy trying these crystal art pieces for yourself, the Disney Crystal Art Pin Badge come in a blind bag and costs £7.99 each, while the Grogu Star Wars Crystal Art Junior Canvas Kit is aimed at younger kids and costs £8.99.
Daniel Footwear – Black Faux Fur Fingerless Gloves

I struggle with very cold hands and often wear them around the home, as well as outside; however, to be able to carry on with tasks well, I’ve found fingerless gloves work best. Daniel Footwear offers its own “Daniel” range, from which these gloves come, alongside stocking some well-known brands.
Offered in 3 colours (grey, black and taupe), these gloves are made from 100% Acrylic and feature a cable knit design, which is complemented by a faux fur trim. It is worth noting that the fur may be a bit flat on arrival, but give it a fluff up, and it looks so much better.
The Daniel Black Faux Fur Fingerless Gloves come in at £19.99.
Footsie Fabulous Feet – Foot Care

Your feet have held you up all summer, and now it’s time to put them up a bit more, but why not give them a pamper as well? And if this sounds like something you want to do, Footsie has you covered with everything from foot soak to files and foot butter, and it’s sold at Boots both online and in store!
This fun range is perfect for some foot care, no matter how you want to go about it. Now this is a fact about me that makes a lot of people laugh, but I can’t have baths anymore due to my mobility, and my feet get so cold sitting in the shower, so I use a washing-up bowl filled with warm water to keep them in, and the Footsie Dive In Fizzy Foot Soaks (£8) are the perfect addition. Infused with Arnica and Magnesium, they are said to improve circulation, relieve stress, reduce swelling and soften skin, and I definitely saw a difference in how soft my skin felt after using them.
The Tropical Toes Coco Luscious Foot Butter (£7) is infused with coconut and nourishing botanicals and is made to hydrate, soothe and soften. I’ve been using it nightly, and my feet are in a better condition than when I started using Foostie by a long way, and I am someone who uses a foot cream every night, even when not trying one out. Lastly, there is the Footsie Smooth Operator 2 In 1 Glass Foot File (£7), made from toughened glass, it includes a coarser edge for hard skin removal and a softer side for buffing.
goodeehoo – Pharoah Phone Pouch

goodeehoo is all about making accessories stylish, affordable and even offers personalisation on most of their items for just £3.50 more. Everything they sell is made to be a thoughtful gift for yourself or a friend.
The Pharoah Phone Pouch is offered in 8 colours (including the olive green you see above) and includes: 2 slip pockets (with a popper), 3 card holders and a secured zip pocket and hangs on an adjustable strap. Sized at just 19 cm x 12 cm x 0.3 cm, it is the perfect pouch to take out on autumn walks with you, when all you need is a phone, debit card and perhaps your dog. The pouch itself is really well-made and features a lovely textured finish.
Fancy getting a Pharoah Phone Pouch? Then you might be surprised to learn they come in at just £19.99!
Goodie by Cannumo – Fermented Blackcurrant Drink

If you like taking probiotics for gut health, then you might be interested to learn about Goodie from Cannumo. It contains 96 bacterial strains and is lactose and gluten-free; it is also not pasteurised and contains no added sugar or salt.
I’ve been using it daily for the past couple of weeks. I’m not that keen on drinking it, although I do for my second shot of the day, but I’ve been adding it to my breakfast every morning and found it works well. My stomach has been really bad of late due to being poorly and put on multiple medications to try and fix it, and I don’t know if it’s been a coincidence as time has passed or if Goodie has made such a big difference. Personally, if I had to guess, I would say it was time + Goodie, as even thinking about how my stomach normally is, it has felt a lot less bloated and more settled. I will definitely be interested to see how it works as I use it for the next few weeks!
Goodie is available in a range of 4 flavours and can be bought from their website or Amazon, and has an RRP of £39.99 for a 33-day supply.
HYPO21 – Heal Your Skin

HYPO21 is a natural purifying skin spray which is organic, vegan and sustainable and is made using pure HOCI (hypochlorous acid). Interestingly, HOCI also naturally occurs in our white blood cells and helps to defend the body from harmful bacteria and inflammation.
This HOCI, however, is created via a simple process of subjecting saltwater (H2O + NaCl) to electrolysis and is made to help soothe and support your skin. HYPO21 has been made specifically to be suitable for all skin types, be hypoallergenic and non-irritating, yet still help to support the skin with infection control, reducing blemishes and redness, all while still being hydrating.
HYPO21 can be bought from their website, where it costs £52.99 for a 100ml spray, with discounts available should you buy more than one at a time.
Miniso – Squid Game Plush

I absolutely love Miniso. In fact, we popped into the store earlier this week to pick up some prizes for the run-up to Christmas, and I couldn’t help but buy myself a Winnie the Pooh blind box, and I pulled Pooh himself! My luck came through for once.
One of their most recent collaborations has been with Squid Game and includes a range of plush, key chains, badges, coins and more! Unsurprisingly, it has been hugely popular, and I can see why, especially when it comes to this 10″ plush triangle guard. Miniso plushes are always really soft, meaning they are perfect for both cuddling and displaying!
If you’ve fallen for this Squid Game Guard Plush but aren’t near a Miniso shop, never fear, as it is also available online for £11.99.
OW Organic Works Skincare

If there is one thing that we all need as the weather changes, it has to be a good skincare routine, and OW (Organic Works Scotland) has some wonderful options to keep you clean and moisturised from top to toe. The whole range is vegan-friendly (plant-based), cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. A lot of the range features the ability to buy refill packs; however, they also offer starter kits and more traditional packaging as well.
I have to admit, I am loving the hand and body lotion. I’ve been using it nightly, and the lavender scent offers a really relaxing fragrance, while containing coconut oil, shea butter, and aloe vera to offer 24-hour hydration to the skin, while still being kind enough to support sensitive and eczema-prone skin. When it comes to usage, a little goes a long way, and I found it soaked easily into my skin and didn’t leave a sticky residue. In fact, I’m already contemplating when I need to buy my next one. I personally find the refill of the Shea Butter & Lavender Hydrate (£22) is perfect for dispensing into an old tub; however, you could also just use it from the pouch, as you can easily screw the cap back on.
As the seasons change, a rich facial moisturiser is a must in my books, and the Grape Seed & Shea Butter Rich Care 24h Moisturiser (£22) ticks all the boxes. As well as offering long-lasting hydration, it also helps combat the signs of ageing, soothes skin and targets redness. Lastly, there is the Revive & Radience Shower Gel (£22), which is perfect for a morning pick me up, thanks to the Bergamot and Orange oils included, while leaving skin feeling fresh, clean and ready to face the day.
Terrys Fabrics – Laura Ashley Autumnal Woodland Duvet Cover

If you are looking for new linens for your home this autumn, be it bedding, curtains, cushions or anything else, then Terrys Fabrics has you covered. Selling a range of high-quality fabrics for around the home, from well-known brands such as Laura Ashley, House Llewelyn-Bowen, Orla Kiely House, Cath Kidson and more.
I thought this beautiful bedding set from Laura Ashley was just perfect for this season, featuring birds, squirrels, hedgehogs, pinecones and berries. It brings together some of the wonderful things about autumn, all tied together with the reds, browns and greens from this time of year. Offered in a single right up to a super king, it is made from 100% cotton and is reversible with the other side showing the same pattern but on a white background.
The Laura Ashley Autumnal Woodland Duvet Cover starts at £40 for a single.
unearthedⓇ Croque Monsieur and Croque Fromage

On a cold evening, after a long day, the last thing you want to do is spend hours cooking dinner. But don’t worry as Unearthed has you covered with their new range of toasted sandwiches. All you need to do is pop them in the air fryer for 8 minutes and enjoy!
Coming in Croque Monsieur (béchamel sauce, sliced ham and Emmental cheese) and Croque Fromage (béchamel sauce, Emmental cheese and raclette cheese), they are said to bring a taste of France to you, and I can definitely attest to the fact that they are tasty. Surprisingly (to me at least), the bread stayed lovely and soft while the cheese and ham cooked to perfection.
The Unearthed Toasted Sandwiches come in at £3 and are on sale in Sainsbury’s.
Vamoosh

Spring isn’t the only time you need to think about cleaning out your washing machine. In fact, it is something you should do every 1 – 2 months, and if you have pets, well, it’s also well worth knowing about Vamoosh’s pet hair desolver as you use it when you wash their bed!
Living in a hard water area and always throwing something in the washing machine, I shouldn’t, I do try to clean it out once every month, and Vamoosh is definitely a go-to brand for me as it has a 6 in 1 action that not only cleans and leaves your machine smelling fresh, but also dissolves hair, kills 99.9% of bacteria and helps to prevent limescale.
However, I didn’t know they also did a specific pet hair dissolver, something I wish I had known about when Sal was alive. It is made specifically to be used with pet bedding, and yes, you pop it in the wash with the bedding so you never get that awful hair clog in the first place!
The Vamoosh Washing Machine Cleaner starts at £9.99 and the Pet Hair Desolver at £14.99.
GOPO Joint Health

If you struggle with your joints, no matter if it’s due to the weather changing or just because they are like mine and don’t seem to like being part of your body, then GOPO might be worth looking into. GOPO includes specially cultivated natural rose-hip and has been on sale in Denmark for over 10 years.
GOPO has been subject to several clinical trials, which have found that it can help joint mobility, while studies have shown it can help with morning stiffness, as well as helping sleep quality and hip joint movement. So what’s in GOPO? Well, each 4g serving contains 3g rose-hip powder, 524µg GOPO and 40mg of Vitamin C.
GOPO comes in at £30.99; however, at the time of writing, it is on sale at Holland & Barrett for £20.76.
Beauty Dropz

One thing that is becoming more popular is edible skincare or supplements that help to support your skin. I mean, it makes sense after all, skin is our largest organ, yet bar the odd moisturiser, do we really think to look after it? Beauty Dropz is a brand focused on edible skincare and has 5 products so far, which help look after skin and hair. Two of the range are Hyaluronic Acid and Marine Collagen.
When it comes to the Hyaluronic Acid, this is offered in a berry flavour and contains ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Zinc and B5. It has been formulated to help with skin hydration, improving elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This formula is both vegan and vegetarian friendly, and is taken as 2 pipettes a day. The Hyaluronic Acid from Beauty Dropz has an RRP of £13.99 and can be bought from Holland & Barrett.
The Marine Collagen is the only one from the 5 which isn’t vegan and vegetarian friendly as it contains fish collagen as an active ingredient alongside vitamin C, aloe vera and Tremella Mushroom extract. Collagen is a natural ingredient in the formation of our skin, and as with many things, as we get older, production decreases, which is why many people are looking to supplement it. Once again, this is a daily supplement taken as 2 pipettes. The Marine Collagen is available from Boots for £14.99.
So there you have 15 items for autumn, be they cosy night in essentials, skin care must haves or just for fun items, I hope you find something that you love this season!
