Cover FX Skin Tint – Review

I have to admit I had never tried Cover FX before I received their skin tint and although I have heard the name, they are not a company I know too much about.

So of course, I had to go and have a good old google, and the more I read the more I found I was really interested.

I’ve always had breakouts and managed to cover them ok. However, last year I was diagnosed with Rosacea and to cover that was a bit harder as the red ‘rash’ seemed to show through everything.

So, to find out that Cover FX is made to cover over such medical conditions got me wanting to know more.

Obviously, this tint on its own isn’t what they advise to fully cover Rosacea. So as such, I will definitely be looking into trying their specific 3 step Rosacea cover-up.

Cover FX Skin Tint.

I have been using the colour C Light.

Skin Tint FX is moisturising, regenerative and complete with an SPF of 30.

This luminous tinted moisturiser has been recommended as suitable for all skin types including sensitive. It contains pearlized minerals to give a hint of colour and offer up the sun-kissed look. All while being oil-free, wax-free, fragrance-free and paraben-free.

The Skin Tint comes in 6 different colours all designed to even out skin tone.

• C Light
• C Deep
• E Light
• E Deep
• M light
• M Deep

C is recommended for Pink Tones, while E is for Pink/Yellow Tones and M is for Yellow/Olive Tones.

They also do a B which is for Brown toned skins. However, they don’t seem to have this in the skin tint, which is such a shame.

On the website, you can also compare which shade would suit you using other brands you may know your perfect shade from.

What Did I Think?

I have to admit the first time I went to use this I really thought there was no way it would work for me. However, I was really surprised hopefully this picture will show you why.

This Skin tint has a liquid to powder formulation which I have to admit I’ve stayed away from in the past but I actually quite like.

It is a light to medium coverage and I can see it being great for the up and coming lovely weather we will be having for summer. Though maybe in winter it might be better as a base.

It really smoothes the skin and gives an even finish. While covering smaller blemishes and giving off a sun-kissed look.

It is come to be one of my go-to – quick-fix items on my dressing table. As I have found even on a bad day I can quickly pop this on and know at least my skin looks a bit better and is sun protected.
