Meet D. H. Potteries and Gifts
Today I want to introduce you to D. H. Potteries and Gifts a brand new company who are going to be taking social media by storm (or so I keep telling them).
They have recently started selling at one of my favourite shops, Bespoke Lichfield and I am so excited about it.

You might be thinking why are you so excited Sarah? Well, let me tell you!
I have known Denise the lady behind D. H. Potteries for many years now. She used to work with my Mum and when a friend let me down I asked my Mum to ask Denise if her daughter wanted to come to The Clothes Show with me.
So one cold morning having never met before, but with our Mum’s as friends, we headed off to the NEC, ending the day with giggles and forming a friendship.
After that, we all met up semi-regularly and Denise herself has always been at the end of the phone if I needed her.
Over the years, Denise surprised both me and my Mum with different pieces of her art. I have a beautiful painting she did of Sal, a mug and thimble and one of these dogs she made many years ago which sits nearby my workspace.
D. H. Potteries was all kicked off by a dog called Henry.
Henry is an awesome dog, I’ve had many cuddles with him and I love the fact he sparked such creativity.
You will often see pottery dogs like the one above which are based on him, which sometimes you see his cap (which was originally owned by Denise’s Dad) pop up on other creations.
I honestly have no idea how she comes up with such creations they are amazing!
She can even make them look a little like your own dog, which is such a cute idea. (Come on we all know I am a sucker for anything personalised).
As well as these cute little pups, she is also in the process of putting together her Christmas ideas – check out this hanging ornament!
As well as this, she also has a range of doggy thimbles and her book Sherlock Hound – The Dog Detective!

Oh I love this! The Christmas ornament in particular is lovely. My Nan loves stuff like this and Lichfield isn’t too far from us, I’ll have to mention it to her next time we’re in the area.
Oh definitely pop in – the shop is amazing! Angela who owns the shop is incredible as well, it’s mostly manned by her and the crafters who are sold there so always someone to talk to who really knows the products.
