Backlife – Back Pain Relief Machine: Review
Backlife Review
For as long as I can remember I have suffered lower back pain. In fact, when I was in primary school I was sent for a lot of tests but they couldn’t find any real cause, bar the fact my spin is slightly bent.
As such, after many years of pain, I was really interested in Backlife when I came across it. Could it help me?
It is advertised as the 12 minute back pain solution and is the first home-based device that is endorsed by leading back care experts.
It works by using CPM (Continuous Passive Movement) and is best used when you are relaxed. The machine itself works by rotating the base of the spin in a continual motion for 12 minutes.
The makers behind Backlife recommend you use it twice daily on a hard surface to stop it from moving around during the process.
Which should, in time, lead you should see a reduction on the pain and an increase in mobility. Thanks to eased pressure around the base of the back.
How to Use Backlife
The Backlife runs on mains power and is switched on by a switch on the side.
My main issue with this is I cannot reach the switch myself once I had got myself into the correct position on the Backlife (bum as close to the device as possible legs up and over it).
At first, I thought this was perhaps because of my limited mobility. However, my parents also had issues reaching it.
So for some people, you will either need someone else around to switch it on or switch it on then get yourself in the correct position. However, this second option which would lose you time and makes it a little tricky with it already moving (and in all honestly isn’t very relaxing).
With the downside over, I could well see this making a huge difference in the long run to lower back pain.
The movement seems to ease the area a little. As such, I will definitely be interested in seeing what the long term effects of it are.
The Backlife from JD Harris has an RRP of £235 but is on offer at the moment at £199.
What do you think of the sound of the Backlife, do you think it could help you?

I was given a Backlife free of charge to help with this review. My views are as always honest.

I would love to know how you get on after using it for some time, do let me know Sarah!
I definitely will – I felt like a bit of a wally at first but it’s actually becoming really relaxing.
I’ll be interested to hear how you get on – I really hope it works for you.
I hope that you get a long term solution from this. I used to get really bad back pain and even had an MRI on my lower back as the pain was so bad.
