JUST EAT: Review
I was surprised at how easy the JUST EAT website was to navigate once you enter your postcode you can easily see at a glance what takeaways in the area allow you to order via the website – they even list if any have a special offer on (a couple near me were offering 20% off) and also if they are collection only restaurants.
Once you had decided on your chosen take out the next thing to do is check the menu – for some reason I was expecting a complicated system where the menu had been scanned in and then you had to.. Well I’m not sure what but that was far from the case with an easy to navigate menu provided.
Millennium Chicken offers a great view on just how simple this system is to navigate as a takeaway they offer a number of different types of food and drink from chicken to pizza, kebab to desserts and just scrolling down the page can end up with you in a very confused place – thankfully the categories to the left offer a simple way to jump to the type of food you are after. While the right side has a scrolling bar that shows you what you have ordered so far and just how much it costs with everything being able to be added and removed with just the click of a button.
Once you are happy with your order you just hit order now – payment is available by credit/debit card or cash on delivery (it would be nice to perhaps see Paypal added as an option in future – or that could just be me being fussy!) – your order is sent through to the takeaway to accept which has taken anywhere between a couple of second and few minutes for me – then you are paid up and all you need to do is wait for it all to arrive and then hopefully enjoy.
You are able to leave a star rating on the JUST EAT site along with a comment on any takeaway you have used so well worth having a look at those before you order should you be trying somewhere new. I found the site so easy to navigate and it will definitely be a service we will use again in future.

We use all of the delivery services, but most of the restaurants here deliver themselves
Used it once – it seemed easy enough but the takeaway I chose let it down, arriving too early and cold.
I had heard of this but wasn’t sure about using it. I’ll give it a try now. X
havn’t used them yet but will give it ago next time i order a take away
This would be ideal for using when we are away on holiday in the UK too!

I think it is a great idea. Unfortunately, I live in a small town & I don’t think it would ever get here 🙂
I have heard of Just Eat a lot but haven’t tried and I don’t think I would, well not just yet anyway. Perhaps when more of my local takeaways get on board with it I might. I always have to force myself to ring up and order, usualy as we want something cooking slightly different to the menu details – awkward I know 🙂

I used Just Eat just the other day for the 1st time funnily enough and I was very impressed (I was a bit gutted to be paying, as I knew some bloggers get to review them, and here you are 😉 ) but I was thrilled with the prices, the delivery, the service and the food. I will no doubt use them again xx

I have never heard of this before. I really like the idea. We eat a lot of takeout, so I think it would definitely come in handy for our house!

What a great tool! I wonder if they have it in Canada! I love how you just enter in what you fancy and you are brought to a ton of choices. It would save time on Friday nights when DH and I are both saying “I don’t know what do you feel like?”
We use it quite a bit, for the convenience of seeing all the options there in one place!
This is such a good idea! Haven’t tried the website yet but next time we want to order takeaway, I’m certainly gonna look this site up. looks like it’ll make ordering easier

I love the idea of this system – but I live in such a one horse town that we don’t have any takeaways listed on JustEat here. Better for the waistline I guess lol x
I love Just Eat as I hate ordering takeaways over the phone and having to find the cash to pay, it makes it so much easier! x
I think we have used it a couple of times. Quite liked it.
Seems sensible to be able to order online, and looks like it’s easy to use. Next time we fancy a takeaway, we’ll try it.
I’ve used Just Eat once….Paid with my card and the takeaway shop cancelled my order…..They had stopped using Just Eat….I don’t know why….My bank/JustEat kept my money in limbo for 4 days and I got no takeaway….This has put me off using these sites….
I’ve only ever ordered pizza online and that was only recently … have seen ads for justeat … think I’ll have to have a look 🙂

What a super and easy service to have. I prefer ordering online (hate calling in my orders too!). Find it is so much easier to ensure my order is correct.

I have to confess I use all the time for take away as you have so much choices. My new year resolution was to stop all take away meals but it didn’t last lol,
